Is there an invite friends feature on FFXI? Where you can recruit your real life friends to the game, and if they stay subscribed for atleast 3 months you get like 1 month of free gameplay? Most (if not all) pay-to-play MMOs have that feature.

I imagine if they did, they would mention it somewhere on their main website. Which, I have to gather from your asking over here rather than investigating on your own on their website, I'd have to say no, that they don't have that.

If they do, again, it'd be mentioned somewhere in their FAQ or something.

I don't believe so, but most of their friends inviting friends deals are in game. If a friend buys a gold pass or whatever its called in game and gives you the code from it you'll be able to join their server (though you can anyway at this point) and you'll be given special items only available through that system. The longer you stay new stuff will appear in your mog house for you and your friend I think. I haven't used the system, but its there.
