I dont like Twilight cause it changed the whole story about vampires.Vampires hate garlic, crosses, and they can be killed with a stick stabbed in their hearts.but in Twilight you have to dismember them and burn the f*ck out of them.

P.S. Did I mention I hate Twilight? All the teens in my school go gaga and immediately have a 2 hour conversation when Twilight or its affiliates are mentioned. It's a shame they're like that, when in my opinion they could all write a story not half as bad as Twilight was, IMO. >:[
Mmm it's just the forbidden love tale though... to some girls it's irresistible x3. With Potter coming to an end people needed to find a new thing to fixate on I guess. And Twilight was born! Shame they went all low budget on the movie though. But it's true there is nothing 'special' about the story.
Harry Potter will never leave my heart =]...But I don't get what was so great about the movie...It didn't make sense half the time...Why do so many people like it?? I mean I saw the movie and didn't get wowed over it ^^...Maybe I'm not normal though xD
That's not even why Twilight sucks. In my opinion, it was an interesting intake on a new type of vampire. I am always open to new ideas.. that's where things start, after all. However, the thing that sucked about Twilight was that 1. it was dragged out. They could've ended it in book I or II. 2. It was all about Bella, Edward and Jacob, angsting over eachother. Eventually, you get bored as **** with the repetitive love triangle. 3. Edward was a pervert pusscake. 4. They sparkled.. I mean.. sure, I am open to new ideas, but sparkling in the sunlight? What is this, a shampoo commercial? Give me a break.
For a soap opera, it's fairly good. I'll give it that much.
hmm the movie was good but i guess the
movie doesn't satisfy the book that much..
there were many scenes in the book that were
not shown in the movie.. but i can't blame the
makers.. because if they tried to put all the scenes
in the book, then there would be like, a 10-hour movie? :D
I thought the movie was all right. I'm not going to read the book though. :)
I'm the odd one out here because I love that the vampires sparkle. XD
I wasn't a fan of Twilight when it first came out I didn't understand what all the hype was about. Then came the DVD and I loved it so of course I had to get the books I'm still reading the frist one though but it's all good. :)
yay!! twilight is a good movie for me... i just watched it 4 months ago on dvd... looking forward to watch the next part....
I sort of change my mind i watched it and i thought it would be the cliche type love story between vampire and human but it was quite interesting especially the part where he stopd the van from crushing her and she is all like 'How did you get here so fast' instead of asking how the hell did you stop the van haha and i do like the different view on vampires with the diamond skin and not sleeping in coffins etc He portrays a vampire as an animal and a hunter not a mythical creature that likes to suck blood so i liked it in that respect. I don't know if i will go out of my way to read the books or watch the other movies though.
I've read all four books and watched the movie.
The books were fun, good, and entertaining, but I don't understand why it has blown up into this HUGE phenomenon. I think it has to do with the Cinderella syndrome and teenagers falling head over heels over a fictitious vampire, although he was bordering on abusive with his controlling behavior towards Bella.
And ladies, please don't tell me that is love because it's not.
The movie didn't do the first book any justice, and I'm sure the second movie won't do the second book any justice either, but I will still watch it anyway.
Advice for the new movie: more character development, better actors for some characters and for the female lead (Stewart's lackluster performance and duh-faced acting is unnerving), and no corny scenes. Mushy, romantic scenes can be made well if they are played out properly.
