    2. Fellowship of the Ring -Favorite movie going experience?
    3. The Dark Knight
    4. The Empire Strikes Back

    6. Akira
    7. The Transformers: The Movie
    8. Back to the Future Part I

    1. 2001: A Space Odyssey
    2. The Godfather Part II
    3. LOTR: The Fellowship of the Ring (Kiwiana, chur)
    4. Dirty Harry
    5. The Shawshank Redemption
    6. A Clockwork Orange
    7. Citizen Kane
    8. Shindler's List
    9. Forest Gump
    10. Goodbye Pork Pie (doesn't get more Kiwi than this)

I wanted to put one or two comedies in, but it seems a little out of place, because I wouldn't call them "great" or "classic", just "awesome" and "funny". Though my last two tend on the humourous side.

Here it is, my top 10:

    1. Fight Club
    2. A Clockwork Orange
    3. The Godfather Part II
    4. Scarface
    5. American History X
    6. Reservoir Dogs
    7. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
    8. Saving Private Ryan
    9. The Departed
    10. In the Name of the Father

Fight Club is just the movie I personally like best. It's perfect in every way. The visuals are stunning and really my taste. The philosophic side is really intriguing. And the acting is so high standard, it leaves most movies of Edward Norton or Brad Pitt behind.

A Clockwork Orange is a great movie. The music/visual combinations are always awesome. The story of course is quite interesting. And I like how the future could probably look like it is depicted in the movie.

I liked The Godfather Part II better than the first part. I think that is because you've come to really know the characters. Plus, the history of young Vito Corleone is amazingly brought.

When I saw Scarface, I expected it to be a little bit longer. It all went so fast. And even though I knew the ending, I enjoyed it a lot. Perhaps even more.

I don't feel like going through the rest of 'em.

    peace!

My own, Che's and Needwork's Top 10's have all been added. The Godfather Part II has taken the lead, putting The Shawshank Redemption on a second place. Fight Club is number 5, thanks to myself and James K. Polk.

Also, I added The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. Thanks to Nixon for letting me know it wasn't in the ranking.

    peace & love,

    Rags
