I just watched it, And it wasn't as bad as everyone was making it out to be. It was kinda boring, but I really enjoyed the familiar voices and the ending. Plus Neil cracked me up. =] I think I'll only watch it once, but in all honesty it wasn't that bad. Next up, Final Fantasy unlimited. I need to see why people think these movies/series are so bad.

I think that if it was marketed as another title rather than just keeping the name Final Fantasy, people would have enjoyed it a lot more. I only watched it once, and thought is definitely was a technical achievement in CG animation. I can't remember much of the story or the characters, but I do remember the ending. I felt sad...

It actually seems like forever ago since I seen it last, so I may just give it another look-see.

I didn't hate it (if I recall correctly), but apparently a lot of other people did, and it lost Squaresoft a lot of money so they had to merge with Enix to keep their heads above water. I don't think the merger was bad though, but it was weird seeing a company that I grew up playing their games change the name to Square-Enix.

Yeah that was really odd seeing them merge. I didn't find out till recently why either, ahahaha. But now I understand a lot after reading these forums and talking to people and getting utterly into final fantasy again. Did you watch the anime?

Oh and by the way, the ending was very sad. =[
