I watched a few from the first series, and really didn't like it. I decided to sit and watch this series because my brother was watching it, and I think it's pretty good.
Skins is a British teen drama/comedy. Its plot heavily revolves around sex, drugs, and love. It also deals with eating disorders, teen pregnancy, broken households, and death.
Does anyone else watch this show?
Lover I don't play to win, but for the thrill until I'm spent.

The original series' annoyed me, to be frank. I found that over half of my college thought they related to and, in some cases, idolised the characters. I just found it irritating to hear people say "that's what our parties are like!!" When all I could think was 'you would be dead if that's what they were like.'
I agree with ZantetsukeN, though. The newer series' aren't too bad. Believable scenarios of people having a small get together with a barbeque. This, in teen fashion, typically involved copious amounts of alcohol and a fair amout of drugs too. Still, at least it realted to actual british teen culture better. The other ones were a bizarre and impossible extreme.
Why did none of them die? Surely the one from About A Boy's death would have made the programme better?
I agree with Trunks, kill them all off and it would be a thousand times better. Or even better stop showing it and do something new. I was initially excited after I found out it was created by the same guy behind Shameless but I got sick of it after only two episodes. It was impossible to empathise with any of those smug characters.
