Does anyone remember this Anime? With "Lil Slugger" the kid with a golden baseball bat that would come up on a skate board and knock people out,and the police were trying to prevent this form happening anymore, but the stories were alot more than that, the stories i remember went pretty deep. But i barely remember any of it.
Does anyone else remember it?
it was a great anime but it was also for mature audiences.

Yeah, it was on Adult Swim when I was in college. It is from Satoshi Kon who did Perfect Blue and Paprika as well. I always love his work and it is usually a very mature story that makes you think.
Was there something specific that you were trying to remember about the anime?

Not really i was just trying to see who else watched it, i watched it in early middle school on adult swim, it was good ^_^ it used out freak me out a little bit too.But i remember very few story's vaguely. I think the symbolism was, when people reached there lowest point, Lil slugger used to come out and make them forget or just end there miserable lives, so he was basically unable to be caught. But if i do remember right, there was one guy that grabbed the bat as it was being swung at him and Lil slugger got scared and ran away. But idk it was a long time ago. it was great Anime and made you think alot.

^ That thing creeps me out. Maromi is still kind of cute though.
I watched a few episodes of this anime here and there, but I made sure to catch all of the final episodes. Those were crazy. I'm talking, I thought I was on some kind of trip or something.
I might go back and catch all the episodes, but yeah, it's a little dark for my tastes. Also, not a big fan of violence, but from what I remember, it did have a good story.

and i now remembered it was roller skates , that he would come up to people on, i think i might catch up with these episodes, i liked them but i dont think i fully understood them in 6th grade.
Im going to post another thread and see if you guys know this anime it was one of my favorites.It used ot play at 5:30 in the morning on Adult Swim
