Has anybody else seen this movie? How about theatres back in '07? I'd heard the song "Falling Slowly" a lot, really liked it, but I hadn't seen the movie until tonight.

This movie really connected with me. It started out really slow, and I couldn't understand what some of the characters were saying due to some thick accents, but once I got used to it and learned who was who, it really started to pick up. Like Roger Ebert said of Lost In Translation, it felt very true to life to me; all the sharp turns, from out of nowhere. Liking someone or wanting to do something, but having some complication get in the way. I see another parallel to Lost In Translation, as well:

Spoiler: how they go their separate ways at the end, but it doesn't seem to be a terrible thing.

I liked this movie more than Lost In Translation, however, because I could relate to it more. And the music was great. I think I will have to find the soundtrack for this, actually. Also, that girl was awesome. She certainly knew how to get her way, ha. Anyhoo...
