Hot Chicks+Gambling= Amazing show
it lasted 5 seasons, but they didnt even finish the 5th season! AND they left it at a Cliff Hanger! So many questions not answered god damn it!
This is a thread that is dedicated to all of you that had a favorite t.v. show that got cancelled for whatever reason.
One show that I enjoy quite a bit was The 4400. It was a nice little sci-fi show on USA that I greatly enjoyed. Then a few days before the new season was set to premire USA pulled the show, saying that it didnt have a large enough fan base to continue...BULLSHIT..
Anybody have a show that also tragically ended...

Haha... I have a whole list of shows that I wish would either make a comeback or just finish what they started. I'm pretty sure that most of the ones that I have listed, you can find episodes of on the internet, or go out and buy the boxset. Still, I wish that they still played, or had new episodes. Anyway, here's my list:
Boy Meets World
I grew up watching this show, and I loved all the characters. I guess with shows like this, you can only run them for as long as the actors don't grow out of thier role, which is what happened and had to end. It was a good run though and I enjoyed it a lot.
Daria
I wasn't that big on Beavis and Butthead, but this show really appealed to me when I was younger. Maybe because it wasn't random idiocy and that it actually had a plot. I was a big fan of Quinn's character, and the whole Fashion Club. Daria herself was alright, but I thought she was too deadpan for me, which was the point of her character, but still, there were others that I liked more. Pretty sure that it had a good run on Mtv, and the creators just decided that it was time for a finale. I remember that episode vaguely. I'll have to look up some on Youtube.
Invader Zim
Hahaha... This show was hilarious! Too bad it didn't really take off. Probably the one thing that everyone knows or remembers about this show is Gir. Even if you've never seen an episode, I'm pretty sure you know who Gir is.
It used to run on the Nicktoons network, but I haven't seen it in the lineup in the loooongest time.
Justice League Unlimited
It ran on Cartoon Network for a while, and then got moved to Boomerang, but I haven't seen it in the lineup in a while. I assume it was pulled. Anyway, basically it was just a revamped version of the SuperFriends, but darker and more gritty. My little cousins and I would watch it together because I wish to pass on my nerdiness to them. Nah. I thought it was a pretty good show, but I think that it just got a bit too convoluted with all the heroes that the writers would throw in every now and again.
Pirates of Dark Water
I watched this every day that it was on when it played on Cartoon Network's afternoon lineup. What's kind of funny to me is that the creators just stopped making episodes, and yeah, left it's viewers with the worst cliffhanger I had ever seen.
Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide
This show aired on Nickelodeon. I think it was part of thier Teen Nick lineup. Anyway, I thought it was a really entertaining show that dealt with what life was like for a kid in school. Haha... I loved the teachers. The kids themselves were awesome as well. Really good and talented actors. The writing was good, and the atmosphere of the whole show was really wonderful. So what happened? I have really no idea.
Best Week Ever
This show was just a weekly version of VH1's "I Love the" series. I would watch it every friday, because I thought that some of the commentary about what happened during that week in entertainment news was hilarious!
Honorable Mention:
Avatar: The Last Airbender
Yes. The shows still play on the Nicktoons network and there is a live-action adaptation in the works, but I wish that there were more episodes. Granted, it's good that the creators finished up the show when they did so it wouldn't get milked dry, but it's just one of those shows that I wish would have lasted a bit longer. Also, I sort of wish they would have gone into a bit more detail about where Zuko's mother was. We were sort of left hanging on that one, but really, that's all that I think needed to be dealt with.
So there's my list of TV shows that are gone, but not forgotten. Hmmm... It's mostly cartoons and sitcoms. Oh well.
Click at your own risk.:
Im just curious to see how many of peoples suggestions were by Fox as they cannot seem to recognise good TV if it danced in front of them naked. At least they had the good sense to commission another series of Futurama, probably the best animated sitcom ever.
The only one that pops to mind is Wanted from 2005, I quite enjoyed that but only 13 ever episodes. And Firefly is an obvious choice.
"A fanatic is one who can't change his mind and won't change the subject."
Winston S.Churchill
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. It lasted two seasons, and at the end of season two, I was very excited to see what came next. Little did I know, nothing would come next, because it just so happened to air on the wrong network. Fox killed it.
I also liked Firefly. It was a very good science fiction show, but unfortunately, it aired on the wrong network, and only lasted one season. Fox killed it. Fortunately, though, the show launched one of the greatest science fiction movies ever made; Serenity, so at least something good came out of it's cancellation.
I love Invader Zim, shame though it was canceled. I guess it became a little too bizarre for kids but then again everything Jhonen Vasquez made is pretty much bizarre to say the least (I dare you to read his comics). The thing that I like most about this show is Zim's voice (and Gir of course), Richard Steven Horvitz has outdone himself I think he even ended in a hospital because of it.

I don't know whether anyone else watched it, but it was a pretty awesome horror/drama about a girl at an oldie-style boarding school who is decended from a family of witches. She gets kind of stalked by a fallen angel who becomes interested in her and wants to have a child with her, which will end the world.
Crappy explaination, but it is really good. It lasted 2 series, and then was cancelled because it wasn't pulling the ratings it should have done. It's a shame because I loved it. I have both series on DVD, so I'm happy.
I was kind of devestated when it ended
Flight Of The Conchords,
Though the show isnt technically cancelled. but bret and jemaine decidied not to do a third season for now because of how hard and long of a process it takes to write new songs for each and every episode. so for now all i can do is reruns right now :'(
Fosters Home For Imaginary Friends,
I dont necisearily like newer cartoons, but this particular show really hit my funny bone, and it really upset me when i found out the producer dumped to run some new succesor to it, only to find out that it totally sucked!
