    Final Destination 4

That's right! There will be a fourth installment in the FFD series...

    From BD Horror News
FINAL DESTINATION producer Craig Perry confirms that the opening disaster in New Line Cinema's HD 3-D sequel will in fact be during a high-speed race car crash where an object will fly into the stands killing (or just missing) some of the audience members!

In addition, he tells is that that the high-def 3-D technology they're using is the exact same system as the one James Cameron is using for AVATAR. He explains that they're going to be very careful about how they use the 3-D in the film. "Having something pop out at the audience every four minutes gets boring," he explains. He wants to use the 3-D to add depth and drama to the film, which if done like MONSTER HOUSE can really add to the experience of the film.

Watch for more info as it comes in. Casting is currently underway for a March shoot in New Orleans.
    Thoughts, anyone?

Honestly, they should've chose something better like a train crash or even a boat one for that matter. I remember hearing before FFD4 was confirmed that there would be a boat crash that would trigger the following death sequences like the usual Final Destination movies.

Then again, they did the train crash at the end of Final Destination III.

But I liked the rollar coaster one on the last movie. And the truck going through that guy's head was a golden death scene.

YAY! I love Final Destination, but I was totally convinced there would only be three films. I've loved all of them, and that scene in FD3, when the two girls are using sun-beds, has pretty much put everyone I know off using them! See, the film can save lives too!

The first one was the plane explosion, second the pile up (Jeese, that one made me laugh with that song "Highway to Hell" or whatever it was called... ) and the third with the coster. Hmm... a speed chase in the next one? Meh, we'll see when it comes out!

Thankies for sharing that! I'm gonna dig out my old copies of the other three now!

I'm sorry, but while I liked the first movie and somewhat the second, any other sequel like that will be trash. The concept is cool, but there doesn't need to be more than 2-3 sequels in ANY such films. You know why slasher films suck these days? It's because everything has into into unoriginal rehashed shit.

At one time, they actually use to the scary. Now, the only thing they're good for is a laugh. Sure, they can continue to make interesting death scenes in each sequel (which the third I admit had some cool ones), there's simply no real substance to him anymore. They're nothing but marketing scams feeding off of teenage suckers. At least, there's nothing scary/good from the mainstream movies. Even Wes Craven has fallen victim of writer's block.

FD4 is going to suck. It's going to be the same story with the same stereotypical retards getting killed in new ways. I'm tired of it. Really ****ing tired of it. It's time we actually see some GOOD movies for a change jump into the mainstream attention, though I suppose I could say the same about many things that don't just include horror movies. The longer we fork over our cash for what they're selling, we'll get the same thing over and over. It's like putting a quarter into a gumball machine and getting the same gumball over and over.

Grizzly I can see where you are coming from with this one, this film will probably take a turn for the worse. But you never really know until it comes out, but then again how much can you do with a series that is live or die, death is after you. After 3 films the shock value seems to go down alot, heck the last one wasn't even scary they were more about the gore.

But with it going 3-d I can imagine it has potential. And seeing that so far I have enjoyed the other three; I hope they don't ruin this franchise. Only time will tell though

A fourth one? Do film makers actually think that it's going to make a profit? The other three in the series completely sucked. The purpose of these films isn't to watch a good story, or witness character development as the story progresses, it's just about watching people die. It's trivial and uninteresting.
