I have to second Ralphie May, especially when he talked about airports and the "black man in a golf cart!!" I also enjoy Kat Williams, Jeff Dunham, and the Blue Collar Comedy Boys!!

I love Jim Gaffigan and Mike Birbiglia. Che, I know you love your short, concise posts, but fuck you, I'm gonna go into some detail anyway.

I like how Jim Gaffigan has a "quiet voice" that is supposed to be what the audience is thinking of his material as he is saying it. And his take on things from the Bible and Catholicism ("If you've never been to a Catholic Mass... it's still going on." Yeah, I can relate to that!) And Mike Birbiglia is an awkward person, and he plays off his awkwardness by telling awkward stories. The best was about how he used to sleepwalk. Look it up. He also makes fun of his last name a lot, and his take on rap is awesome as well.

I also like some George Carlin. Mostly his bit about driving. Anyhoo...

Not sure why, but I can't really get into Jim Gaffigan. I like the idea of nailing what the audience is saying with the quiet voice, but a lot of other comedians do this as well. I think the whole hotpockets thing ruined him for me. It's not even that funny, and he totally overuses it.

I'm going to go ahead and third Zargabaath's and Keyblader's pick of Ralphie May. He is just a great talent and extremely funny.

I like Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, and Ron White of the Blue Comedy Tour, but I don't care for Larry the Cable Guy.

I am also a fan of Demetri Martin. Some don't like him because he's kind of random, but I think it's hilarious.

Yeah, I figured other comedians have probably done that too, but he's the one that introduced me to that. Also, his newest CD is free of the "hot pockets" jokes... to be replaced by bacon jokes, ha.

    Hmm...

Robin Williams, Lewis Black, Jeff Dunham, Dane Cook would probably be my top 4. Seen Lewis Black live once, seeing Robin Williams in November.

Far as movie/television comedians go, Adam Sandler, Jonah Hill, Andy Samberg.

Saw a standup by Daniel Tosh once I really liked too.
