    Re: Doctor Who

I personally love Doctor Who despite many of the plot lines being overtly farfetched and some of the scenes being cringe-worthy. Im looking forward to seeing Matt Smyth as the doctor but Tennant is irreplacable. My favourite episode is either the one where the statues send people into the past or where the Doctor travels to the first world war era and becomes John Smith.

One thing that baffles me about the modern incarnation is that the Doctor will defeat "the last Dalek" but in the next series there will always be another" last Dalek".

oh, off note, the plot and story behind doctor who actually got me reading a quantaum physics book lol, with the whole black hole episode... Personally I never really cared for martha, but the more previews I see with matt smith I think he may grow on me, but he is not pretty to look at... >.<

Matt Smith seems pretty charismatic from what i have seen so far, which is most important in regards to playing the doctor. I wouldnt know if he is much much to look at or not but aesthetically hes everything someone from the f*ucking Twilight generation could want. Hes even got the emo fringe. I guess i will let time be the judge.

David Tennant is the best Doctor Who ever. Full stop. I never saw a bad episode with him in it. I don't think the new one will be nearly as good. The new assistant looks pretty hot though

Doctor Who was okay, but it got old rather quickly. I enjoyed it for a bit, but my mind drifted from it, and eventually I just quite watching it all together...

Try watching the old school ones when you get bored, with the fake rubber aliens and x-mas lights for stars... i watch the tom baker years just for a laugh... but yeah I guess i can see where your coming from, with david leaving, if the new guy doesn't catch my attention I'll more then likely only watch the dvds i have with 10 in em.

I'm willing to give the new Doctor a chance seeing as how I didn't think Tennant could replace Ecclestone, and he did, very well (Ecclestone is still my fave though, that guy is ace)

I'm sure they could have given him a better sending off though, I thought Ecclestones was great, Tennants just seemed abit...lame. Though, the Master is just brilliant. Glad they brought him back
