Yeah, I agree with you. They shouldn't treat them like that, or they will end up killing us all. Well, thats what I think anyway. Poor Extra-Terrestrials They Just wanna go Home. Let 'em Go Back Home, You Jerks.
No doubt most of you have known of this new sci-fi movie produced by Peter Jackson, which deals with how alien refugees are being treated when they arrive in South Africa. What are your opinions on this political and moral tale our extraterrestrial visitors? Personally, I think that showing how humans would react to an alien species gets you thinking, doesn't it??

It does take the typical story that humans are interested in the technology of the aliens, similiar to the story in the Alien series. It kind of makes me sad that, that is what people think all government cares about. I do find it a bit funny that this alien species has superior technology and we are trying to bully them into telling how it works and to reveal their secrets. Do we having space ships that can travels solar systems, galaxies, universes? No. So what makes humans think they could "force" it out. I find that a little stupid on the writer(s)' part.
If the humans pissed them off enough they could find out how their technology works... as the receivers of the alien technology. lol

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I believe it works because this is our planet. Our home turf. Even if we stumbled upon some society of aliens on a planet a million light-years from here, the difference alone in how things operated would be enough to make us think they were far more advanced - even if they weren't.
I saw the movie last night, definitely one of the wierdest/most unique movies that I've probably ever seen. I can't really find a way to describe it to people to be honest, lol, but it is similar to a fictional documentary of a man in charge of working with the aliens that are living in South Africa, and then a bunch of crazy shit happens and it turns into some crazy action packed movie that plays on the morals of others. Other then that, there's a little bit of Borat, Transformers, and some Scarface references thrown in I'd say, along with a dash of I, Robot, and you've got yourself one crazy ass movie!

What Rocky said is what it really is.
This movie is a documentary, it makes you think this shit is real almost, the documentary part is soooooo well done. Then it turns into an action movie which was amazing as well.
So very unique way to make a movie, and they pulled it off.
