This is the 1st time ive made a link in a thread, and my god i hope ive done it right.
Anyway over here in britain we got a talent hunting show on called britains got talent. i know america has one aswell but not not sure about other countries, anyways, this is a vid of 1 of the contestents called george sampson, hes a BRILLIANT dancer and soooo cute, i really hope he wins and i decieded to share his audtions with everyone on here. hope u enjoy as much as i have. and say what u think of him x

Yup, the 'Got Talent' format was sold by Cowell's entertainment production company to about 70 countries I think? So it's pretty worldwide

I watched the other night, I wouldn't normally because England were playing the USA (2-0 haha) but the game was so utterly uninspiring and dire that I switched over twenty minutes in. Charlie the 10 year old singer I felt was the best, however the people of our fair isle clearly felt differently. George I believe is from my fair city? Still I don't know... he's clearly talented but... I can't explain it. Something seems a little off.

I'm afraid to admit, I am currently watching it. Whenever I sit down i the evening at home, my parents are always watching it so in turn I have to watch it too. However, some of the acts have been scary in my opinion. The first was that Hoo La La or something like that. I mean, a slightly round man in a tight purple suit messing with rings is one of those things that will haunt me.

Also some of the others are just weird. The gothic magic act, the strange keyboardist, the fat woman who dances, etc. I could go on with a list but then again I'm not paying attention to it half the time.

Even though most the acts I don't enjoy, I have to admit that some of them are in fact rather good. Charlie Green was a good singer even though he wasn't my kind of music. Its like now, the classical music players, Escala or something are good and I don't listen to that music. Although I am finding their current performance to be not what I expected.

I thought Charlie Green wasn't good at all in that semi-final. Definitly not a good song choice.

As for George...I think he's brill. The flip he did at the end of his dance was amazing. And his name is George! I love that name ^^. Haha.

I haven't really seen any others, though. Except that one who did the Michael Jackson thing...can't remember their name. I think it might be Signature or something. They were good, too.

Aye, but Josh, remember that it's up to the public who goes through and they don't always pick the right person (because they're idiots).

See, some people think about voting for the better person/people, but then think "Oh, well, everyone will vote for 'im, let's not bother, eh?". And that's how the better acts end up not getting through.

Like, can you remember what happened on X Factor last year? That guy (Leon was it?) won when really, Rhydian (sp?) should've won it. It really wasn't fair >.> Bloody public, aye >.>

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY george went thro, I was tiny disappointed that he used the same routine cos i was lookin forward to seeing some more good moves, but sticking to it clearly paid off. I guess he decided to play it safe, as he knew how much the public liked that routine.
I was really tensed up whilst listing to the results, ive never watched the royal variety show cos that sorts thing dont interest me but i wanna see it this year just cos george is in it.
