The truth is, no one movie can please everyone and when people hype that movie it only makes it worse for a certain demographic.

This movie really went beyond comics. It was the greatest cinema experience I've had in many years. I was excited to see the joker given all of his potential as a horror movie monster. The movie delivered and I have to say it's the greatest comic book inspired movie I've seen.

I didn't say it wasn't great. I said it wasn't as great as everyone made it out to be, which it isn't. Best comic book inspired movie, perhaps, but it's not the next Citizen Kane. Sorry.

    Until now!

Well, in my opinion Citizen Kane isn't Citizen Kane, but that's beside the point. I see what you mean. I guess people hyping stuff really just doesn't affect me anymore. I've either gotten used to it or ignore it totally. But was it the greatest movie ever? No, that's a grossly disproportionate statement. But it was highly satisfying and now that I've seen it twice, I really can't deny it any praise that I can give it.

Fear not, this is not...the end of this world.

I guess it's Prefection comes with that if you don't go into it
looking for screw ups it never really presents you with any.
There's a lot of movies that present you with stupidity or
flubs on a silver platter, or make everything so unbelievable
that you're more willing to see it's flaws. But everything in
this movie was shown in a way that made you more accepting
of it's flaws. And even if it did make a boo-boo it swept it
all under the rug nice and quick with the next amazing thing
that happens. So it's not to say that it's perfect, but more
that it's better than the rest. :-p
This is my band, listen or Odin shal be displeased.
