So...
Is there a way to transfer my PSX emulator save to my PS3??
I downloaded a PS 1 game the other day, and I'm not sure that IF I indeed can transfer the file, that it will be compatible with my PS3.

The type of file created by the emulator is different to the files read on ps3. Also, inside the save file are a complex set of numbers and values. If the game you downloaded differs from the one that you have, be it NTSC, PAL, different edition etc, the save file will not work anyway. Best advice is to stick to the console you will use throughout the game.
Best thing I can tell you is if you really, really wanted to transfer your save file from the emulator to ps3, you would have to look into converting your save to the ps1 memory card and you'll need to buy some sort of USB to ps1 memory card slot (if you can find one) that you can use for both your computer and ps3. Try googling transferring ps1 emulator save to ps1 memory card and see what you can find.
Hope that helps!
