Hmm.. try cleaning the lens? Though I can't really tell you how to do that, since it's a PS3 and not a PS2. ^_^;;
But yeah, usually a lens clean fixes up any DREs.

I Figured that this would be the best place to ask for help...
My ps3 suddenly stopped working..
it was completely random, i was playing a game then i put in a movie then it just didn't read the disc or something... Its very strange i took very good care if the system and never hit it or dropped it or mistreated it in anyway.
Anyone have any insight on my problem.. I called sony and i have to fork over 150 bucks for a fix and if that can't fix it they will send me a new one..
totally lame man...
So anything similar happen to anyone else here.. let me know thanks..

Is the problem only with the movie? The DVD's region might not be compatible with your PS3.
