Firefox not updating.

All of the websites I go on tell me to upgrade my web browser.
Then when i do it still doesn't work.


I use Firefox.

altrenatively, go to mozilla.com and download and install Firefox 3, then you should be good.

Thats exactly what i'm doing. And it's not helping.
My question is WHY ISN'T IT UPDATING WHEN I INSTALL THE NEW VERSION?

THe websites are telling me my browser is so old. And my ISP is displaying a nag page about it. when I start Firefox.
It doesn't for Google Chrome. but lets be honest... Google Chrome feels slower to me.

All of my plugins are fine.

Uninstall Firefox. Reinstall Firefox.

Sometimes programs like to freak out and forget how to work properly.

Alternatively you could just install the Opera browser.
It's faster AND uses less resources than Firefox and IE do.
