I've started looking around the net for building a nice PC for myself and so far, I've found www.gamepc.com. The charges for building them seems a bit excessive ($200 American for barebones, no OS system build) though I could possibly get Igor to do it himself, since he used to piece together Sun computers once upon a time. Here is the stuff I chose off of it. Some places, I just put what they are (like the optical drive)

"Model": Titan CX2/200

CPU: AMD Opteron 1212 (2.0 Ghz)
CPU Cooling: Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro
Motherboard: MSI K9N Neo-F nVidia nForce 500 ATX
Memory: Corsair XMS DDR2-800 2GB EPP Twinpack (2 of these)
Hard Drive 1/2: Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 160 GB 7200 RPM OEM
Floppy drive/Memory reader: Mitsumi 7-in-1
Optical Drive: Sony DVD-rom 16X
Video Card: Asus Gforce 7600 GS PCIe 512 MeG
Case: Chenbro RM12400 ATX 1U w/ 300w PSU
Power supply: Seasonic S12-HT 550w
OS: WinXP Home

...a few places, I got the cheapest thing (or nearly so) and I don't even know if what I picked will even work together... I think I'll also get a monitor, maybe a good keyboard, I don't know...

...but all of that put together barebones, I install the OS, is 1,965.00 American dollars. I don't even know if I'm getting a good price...

What do you think?
