I did go and check out Yougov.com. Although I was looking more for a discussion board, I did go through and read some of the 'opinions' on several topics. Personally, I believe that regardless of where you go to get information on many of today's topics, the media, who are suppose to be 'neutral' on all matters, seem to always squeeze in their opinions. Look at Fox News...now again I point out that ALL reporters are suppose to be neutral while reporting, but during BOTH debates here in the States, they interviewed guests after the debate, and almost every single one said...."McCain has my vote, but.....Barack said this, that, or the other thing." To me that is wrong. It's like each News Station is basically trying to sway the public to vote one way or the other.
We all have our likes and/or dislikes, and yes we do discuss them. And that is great! But not on the nightly news. Let the public form their own views and make their own decisions by reading about or watching the candidates themselves.. I feel the media gets in the way more times than not. There are so many topics that last sentence could cover it's unbelieveable.
I may have gone way off of the subject, but I guess what I'm actually saying is that regardless of what is said, most Politicians are going to tell you exactly what they think you want to hear just to get your vote. Personally, I'm not comfortable with either candidate. I hear a lot of chatter, but I don't hear either one of them actually 'telling' us what they will do for us or our country. We hear a lot about what 'needs' to be done, but not what is 'going to be done'. And they are both right when they have said this is the most important Presidential Election we've ever had.
