I want a Silent Hill that can't be explained through a strategy guide. Something that is completely different and random for everyone. THAT would add alot more of the scare tactics to the game. Let's face it, using a strategy guide gives you a sense of safety when roaming the streets of Silent Hill.

Yeah! It's a shame Konami probably aren't thinking of any others apart from Silent Hill 1 Remake and Silent Hill 5... yet. It's also a MASSIVE shame that they probably don't want people suggesting ideas to them..... Or maybe... Do Konami have somekind of email address or something? ;! I know they probably won't want to know, but I... could always try getting in contact anyway. I'd probably not get an answer, but I'd absolutely love to mail them my ideas. ^_^;;... If they considered it, that would be absolutely wonderful. Of course, I'd mention you, Alucard (real name, though, obviously =P), but yeah. I'm going to make a few more ideas before I try and attempt to email. I know it's stupid, but it's a dream, right?

As for the insanity system... hmm, I'm not so sure. Perhaps on Hard Mode?

Good score? I thought I did a bit "bleh" at it. :p But thanks! And yes, I throughly enjoyed every moment. I think Silent Hill 2 is still my favourite for the pure fact of running through town more, though!

I love Silent Hill 3 and am playing through it now with the beam saber. The costume freaks me out a bit, though. o_o;

I love me some SH3. Talking about it and seeing Heather in your signature makes me want to shut myself up in this apartment and just play it for the remainder of the day, skipping all of my plans.

BUT...I can't do that.

I DO need to finish Silent Hill, though. I still have a little ways to go until I beat the game.

OH! And I meant online capabilities when I said multiplayer earlier. It'd be so ****ing sweet to play in Silent Hill with people across the world.

It would be fun, the multiplayer thing. Who's to say that each character wouldn't see different things? It'd just add to the chaos if the person you were playing with was shooting a gun into thin air, but to them, they are killing a massive creature.

I think that'd be pretty sweet.

Two different characters and whatnot. Anyway, I'm going through Brookhaven hospital on Silent Hill 3 again now. You know, I think it's a little scary that there's two nurses on either side of the reception block as soon as you walk into the hospital. I'm not complaining. I just think it's creepy...
I squeal and run around to the right side, take care of the nurse with my beam saber. Go back the other way, see the nurse reeming the edge of the reception wall and then saber the shit out of her too.

It's lame, but it's worth a check-out if you're ever bored.

Chez, how powerful is the beam saber? My friend was using it but it didn't seem very powerful at all. And then how powerful is the sexy saber? I'm curious to get that one, too.



As for my SH gaming experience, I want to start up SH3 again so badly, but two of my friends are running through it and I don't feel like running through the mall again for the third time. I guess I'll just stick with SH4. Then maybe go back to SH2 or something.

The beam saber is powerful as ****!

It's even good against nurses! But I usually stick the downing the nurses with my pistol so that they don't hit me. As for sexy beam, I really don't see the difference. Apparently they're meant to be different, but they just seem the same to me...

I use the saber beam. :)


Also, the SH3 mall doesn't go on for that long after you've played it through once or twice. It took me about... an hour or so to get out of it. It's interesting after you get over the initial feeling of "I'm stuck in this stinkin' building! RAWWWWR!"

It took me forever to dodge that god damned subway train, but when I was helping my friend with it we got it on the second try. That took me forever to figure out.

I've just been so busy lately. Exams were this and last week, loads of reading and homework, and I've got that Writing Competition that I've only just started my story for. Uhhhhhh I miss the summer time :(

Ouch. Sorry. I don't have exams and shit like that anymore.

Anyway, I freaked out on that subway bit. I reset it before I got hit by the train, so I got it second try 'round my first time playing through. And I did it on my first time on my second time playing through the game.

Blah. Anyway, I just saved in the hospital office. I'm heading to the Inn and then to Lakeside Amusement park...yay! I'm almost through with the game again. xD

Did anyone else notice that nurse that sneaks up behind you on the 3rd level of the hospital hallway? I was ****ing FREAKED out. It like spawns right behind you! Crazy ****ing shit...

Yea that part really scared me the first time, i also got past the train on my second try. Thats only because i wasn't ready the first time. I am now starting resident evil DS, so i will probably be spending most of my time on that.

That train was the most frightening part on the game if you ask me.

Also the bit with the nurse that spawns behind you and follows you up through the 3rd floor of the hospital.

Bah...

Silent Hill 4 is still the scariest...

Hello there pyramid head, i think that would be awesome, but it's really up to you guys. Im really into the rebirth mode of Resident Evil DS, it's fun but not as fun as the REmake.

Anyway, I need my Silent Hill fix again. I haven't played it for a few days and that makes me feel... dirty. :( In the bad way. XD

Everyone, this guy's knowledge and theories on the series has completely blown me away. He is FANTASTIC, so I'd definately suggest asking him to bring his point of veiws' into this thread and hopefuly some of us cam become educated on the series in another way.

I'm sort of wanting to quit Silent Hill 3 for a while and replay Silent Hill 2... I really do love Silent Hill 2... <333333

My friend recently beat SH3. So that's left for me to do is find some god damned free time and beat SH4. This is so frustrating that I've been so busy and have hardly had any time to play.

I just picked up the Silent Hill DVD last night. I llok forward to watching it this afternoon yet.

More than likely, I will watch that and probably end up playing "The Room" for the first time. I picked that up at Gamestop for 8 bucks yesterday....

So, hopefully soon I will have some more to add to the disussion in the future, besides what I know about SH2 and 3.

I apologize for my lack of Postiging in here as I currently have other games I want to complete, but I still need to get a copy of SH4 so I may start digging into 3 soon. I still have yet to see the movie, its now in theatre but I will wait till it comes out on DVD.

When you finish watching the movie, make sure you check out the special features. They're pretty interesting...actually, really interesting.

I STILL need to finish beating the first Silent Hill. I've just been putting it off. I can't even really remember where I saved last. Wonderful. Maybe I'll finish the game today.

Nice find! The Room has a great story, I don't think you'll be dissapointed.

I really hope he is, though colin reminded me of Abstract Daddy (fought in SH1-2?) - the father of Alessa, whom did..uh..similar things that Colin did to Alessa (don't really want to give it away), and their respective depictions remind me of them both.

I'm pretty sure he will be, though, considering Yamaoka is..y'know..Pretty fundamental to the development of Silent Hill.
