That post of yours starting with: 'Flame away.'
For starters that can somewhat be seen as flame baiting in a very non-transparent form. And that whole grammar war thing when you yourself have made countless errors. I can almost respect your desire for truth, but when you posted that very long post about grammar war, people not having common sense and all that other crap that is hardly a non aggressive way to ask for proof. Hell you could have PMed Drake instead.

This is quite hypocritical of you. You called my response to Cloud’s correction an act of aggression yet you just did the same thing when you corrected my spelling mistake. You responded to my “aggression” with “aggression”(see further down in the post). I said “flame away” in an attempt to show that I have little care for anyone flames me. It wasn’t an attempt at making people angry.

Also these so called acts of aggression come after I question Draken, so how is this relevant? Me and Cloud’s argument really are pretty irrelevant to how I questioned Draken’s credibility in that first post.

As for my rules:
So yeah, this club is about fighting in it's recreational forms. And I don't want anyone attacking another person as the last bit of that quote said. Attacking a person's reputation or claims is a form of attacking another person last time I checked.

I know for a fact that questioning is not a synonym of attacking. I am pretty sure we don’t have to pull out a thesaurus to check it. Your warping what I said to make it go against these rules in your first post. You can say I attacked him and Bill Clinton, the former president of the United States, can say oral sex is not sex, but that doesn’t mean it’s true. Do you see the similarity?

And I agree with Cloud. He was bloody right to argue with you. As for bolding the 'I', I was emphasising that I made this club, it was made to my ideals. Cloud has every right to pull rank here. He does his best to be constructive and also to keep the ideals of this club true.

That contradicts your statement of him keeping the ideals of this club true.

What's more of a joke is the hypocracy shown through your actions. The whole grammar war rebuttal when yours is far from perfect yourself. And that shit about no aggressiveness. I'm no ****ing saint myself, but saying shit like:

is quite clearly aggressive. Your example there is clearly used to employ negative connotations towards your suspicions about Drake. And that's all they were, suspicions.

I’ll address that statement about me being a hypocrite below. I honestly I never dreamed that this would be considered an aggressive statement. Let me explain: I understand that you haven’t met me in person, so you don’t know what I look like, how old I am, what my personality is like. For all you know, I could be a fat, 11 year old, Asian kid. When I say that am I being aggressive to myself if I am indeed not a fat, 11 year old Asian kid? Obviously it was an example statement meant to make a point, it was that simple and not difficult to comprehend.

This is my club. You have a problem, just stop posting or make your own club dedicated solely to arguments or whatever you want. Why not a debating club or something, you seem very good at it.

About the comment on debate, when I feel something is wrong I am not going to be silent and let people just walk all over me. I just don’t let it happen.

I doubt we'll ever agree on this and hell we'll probably eventually piss each other off.

I still see the questioning as an attack, just as you probably still see it as just questioning, but I think it's time to move on.

And paper, the only reason just about everyone jumped on you for asking that was because you did so in a little rude way. There wasn't a need for such words, paper, nor was there a need for you(celt) to get so hyped up over it. Kindness can go a long way, in both directions, even online. Well, you guys read what I fight for, right? It was the link. Basically, I'll stop a person destroying themselves and I'll stop a person destroying others, where I can. It's what I have to atone for...


Other then that, we sorta skipped over a few topics with that tangent. Weighted training equipment, and something about swords.

I bought a Zanbato from Bleach, at the end of August. Heavy and a good training weapon. Sorta two birds with one stone. I picked it up at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Fare. Found something else unusual there, but I'll post it as a new thread.

OK I know this is off topic, but I feel it to be necessary.
Here's the deal. My opinions and views have changed greatly over the past week or two due to several things, and I no longer carry that passion I once did for fighting. Don't get me wrong, I'll still fight for a cause I believe, but my active vigilante days are over.

Anyway, I believe that the leader of this club, to hold true to my original vision, must see fighting as a major part of their life. And that no longer applies to me. So I believe a new leader must be chosen. I'll still be a member of course, but I may post a little less frequently. Anyway, as of the bottom of this post I stand down as leader of this club.

My last thing as current leader of this guild is to say how our next leader will be picked. Anyone interested in the position will write a post following this one, and then we will vote for who we want as the new leader. Most votes wins.

After the new leader is selected, he/she will be able to make a new post concerning TFF Fighter's Guild rules/ranks/positions and I will copy/paste a link over my first post.

Yea, I did notice a change in you back in June too, but I don't think it should go to that level. This new thing... is different, though... Still you shouldn't stop what you know you need to do.

Maybe take a brake with a temp leader, but you shouldn't give being a leader all up.

Aye, I am giving up the position just like that.
But I have good reason. I now have people who are very important to me who I don't want to let down in anyway. People either not so good at fighting, or who don't like fighting.
I'm at that phase we're I'm trying to make peace with everyone I may have once held conflict with.
Just because I don't want anyone hurt because of me.
Now I fight only to protect what I care about. I'm on the defensive so to speak.
And I get the feeling my fights are gonna be even more infrequent now.
So yes, I'm giving up the position.

Sup, it has been a little while since I have been on (college work). But I can tell you I will be more active in the future.

Glad we could come to a mutual agreement Celtic. I think it is pretty respectable of you to change for the people you care about, good for you. Just make sure you still kick some ass when needed lol.

I know this is somewhat unrelated but recently I have had thoughts of joining the marines... It's something I have to think long and hard about, I just can't decide. I have just lost motivation for my future and I think the marines might be able to rekindle that motivation. It's a toughy.

Discussions about sporting fights could be discussed, as well as on less than peaceful tips.

But I'd like it to be dedicated to recreational fighting or funny fighting stories only. None of that bullying crud.

Cursing is acceptable (though don't just swear for the sake of it), attacking others is not acceptable for any reason.

Hey guys whats going on. Congrats Draken on the new leadership role. Celtic was a good leader, but thats alright. So i got an interesting story. I was at a friends party and one of my buddies girlfriends was there, and we have liked each other for a while and shes not happy with her boyfriend. So we were sitting there talking and the boyfriend comes up to me and we start talkiing and i get up and get something to drink.

Apparnetly while i was getting a drink She broke up with him and said she wanted to be with me. So he comes up to me in a fit and he starts yelling at me for the reason they broke up and he decided to throw me a right hook. So i used a little art known as Krav Maga. I used the 360 defense and i blocked his right away with my left and i gave him a swift elbow to the jaw. He hit the floor pretty hard. It was a good one. I got the girl though so its all good.

I'm not too sure as I don't lose very often. That said I'm guessing it involved to much booze, a fellow drunk and a heavy blunt object of some sort connecting with my head. I've had a few odd times waking up...

In reply to Paper's question about joining the marines, I'd say, it's up to you, but weigh the results.

On one hand, you will learn to fight a lot better then most people, serve our country, travel the world, and get enough fighting to your heart's content.

On the other, you'll always be deployed somewhere, people will shoot at you constantly, you'll see death up close like I do, and bullets hurt... a lot.

The worst day, as per fighting, would be... when I couldn't protect someone, and they died. It's sort of another scenario.


Last year, around this time, I was with my brother in the city, helping him with something, when I dropped a can of soda and it rolled down an alley. I ran over to pick it up, when I heard someone moan loudly and then whimper.

I came around the corner to see what was going on... and I came across a girl being raped... she was younger then me, a few years or so... A knife, one of those butterfly ones, was sticking out of her neck, and the bastard was still screwing her... My anger reached it's peak at that moment, something that it rarely does, and I mean rarely, as once a year or so... but I couldn’t control myself

I ran down the alleyway, and kicked off the side wall, throwing a diving punch at him, hooking him in the jaw. I hit him with enough force to topple him over, but he got up quickly.

He came back at me with a mid-kick… I was so pissed, I caught it mid air, and yanked him hard enough that I threw him into the wall I kicked off of. I pulled him up by the throat throwing him back into a adjacent trash can, knocking him over yet again…

I walked up to him, and immediately broke three of his bones, 2 places in his left arm and his left leg…, with one hammered hit each…

A thought ran through my mind, “why should he live, when he didn’t let her. Why?”… Yet I did… I let the bastard continue on living… without a second thought.

I walked up to the girl, and knelt beside her, apologizing… I wasn’t able to do anything to save her… All I could do was comfort her as she died… I felt so powerless… Nothing I did…, nothing I could do would have changed the outcome except getting there sooner…, but without hearing her, I wouldn’t have known...

I held her hand as she died… she squeezed it tightly, crying… and then…… her life faded away…

I stood up, looking back at what had transpired, hating not the murder, but myself. Hating him won’t bring her back…, hating anyone else won’t bring any of them back… It wouldn’t have solved anything but bring more sorrow…

There was a cell phone nearby, probably hers. I dialed the police… then left… there was nothing more I could do…

Wow man... This is something i wouldn't ever expect. I don't understand how people can do something like that, in a place with people all around, no fear, nothing? Just to screw a girl? Dammit!

At first i didn't understand that she was dying; i read it again. That was one sick bastard. I would have done the same thing. at least to a point. I don't think he deserved to live, but killing him yourself would make you drop to his level. A slow and really painful death is what he deserved, but one might say that we're not the ones to judge the fate of the people.


That's f*cked up. I hope that he got what he deserved sooner or later. Getting "violated" in prison for the rest of his life wouldn;t be that bad... but not good either.

I haven't gotten into any fights lately, as i've been studying most of the time & i don't expect to get into any kind of mess in Australia. If anything does happen though, i'll probably tell you about it in a couple of weeks, after i come back that is.

Yea, it's not something that the average person would want to find. Not many people can handle it. My dad saw a few people multulated in car accidents and he can't really talk about them normally. One of my officers RS_Hawkeye saw something too and he can't get through the entire story without pausing every few words. Never actually heard his full story yet, either.

I asked this before, but it sorta got thrown aside.

I got a daily(well almost daily) regimant. 10 push ups, 10 sit ups, 10 weighted leg squats, 10 weight reps(when able), 10 min jog/walk, 10 sword sequenses with my new heavy Zabatuu(when able).

I spar when I'm able. I actually have to kick my friend's ass this week end, cuz he made me promise that if he ever became like his dad, I have to, well, kick his ass. lol

Anyway, what kind of weapons or practice weapons do you train with, Celt?

I use to train with spears, staves, long chain weapons, scimitars, siethes (ignore spelling), bayonettes styled blades, short swords, halbreds, and for a short time axes. Not all at once, of course, but over time. lol I'm fairly well with most of them.

Like I said up top, I'm currently training with a heavy broad sword style blade, and I'm trying to get into heavy chain seithes. I also have my practice katana, too.

I tried nunchuku, but it didn't work well for me. lol

Baseball bats, decent swords I manage to buy, knives, my trusty hockey stick...
And plain metal rings. Most of the weapons you described don't hide too well down here, and you get noticed a lot more than you want to carrying them around.

Yeah Im in a bulking stage of my training right now. No cardio, just lifting. I put up about 230 on my bench the other day when I was maxing out. Pretty empressive personally because my previous best was a mere 200lb. Not bad for a dude who weighs 160. I lift all my core body parts.

I plan on cycling lifting with cardio, so after another month I am going to be hitting some cardio.

For fight training, I spar at my gym with others, and take classes.

Damn, not bad Paper. If you join the Marines you'll bulk up quickly, cuz they'll make you train 5 times a day, lol. My dad was in the Air National Guard and he went from a skinny180 to a 210, and that training isn't nearly as hard as the Marines.

Around last year, I was benching my own weight, but joint injuries this year sort of reset my normal limits. Left arm keeps acting up if I do too much. Right now, I figure I'm at benching 165 or so right now. My normal training last year was at 20 each.

Heh... I prefer a good anti scarring cream...
That said, I got one on my noggin (guess the cream had a hard time with my hair ), one on my left index finger from broken glass (which I missed until it'd scarred), one on my leg which was just a little too deep to heal up properly regardless of what I did...

And a few smaller ones here and there. Luckily (and thankfully) the few on my face are covered by hair. ^^

I'm still not a fan of fighting, and I try very hard to avoid physical conflict. I do, however, practice with bokens, wooden practice swords.

I consider myself to be at least moderately talented with them. I own 6 of them, and every now and again, I'll gather up some friends for some goofing off swordfights. Despite my lack of formal or proper training, I seem to have developed a very particular style. I parry. All the time. At the last second. With a high rate of success.

Now that I think about it... I think one of my firends compared it to one of the four lightsaber dueling styles from the Star Wars universe. Why the hell do I hang out with Star Wars ubergeeks?

I very rarely actually take the offensive, having done so on only a handful of occasions. The most memorable time was when one of my friends was trying this ridiculous spinning move, and I whacked him in the calf muscles of his left leg.

On a side note I was recently knocked unconcious for the first time. It wasn't in a fight, I hit my head on a cabinet. Ouch.

I have been training fairly at a pretty slow pace. Though I have picked up some size and strength. My weight went from 150 to about 173lbs.

My lifts have increased:
Bench:200-240lbs
Squat: 240-300 (Gained a lot)
DL: 260- 320lbs.

Pretty good gains for about six months of weight training.

As for Sparring and such, I have been slacking. Though I do spar for practice here and there. My fight training will pick up intensity the closer it gets to summer because I plan on doing some amateur fights.

But for now I'm going to take it easy. *goes to get icecream*

Well no more school anymore. Finished last year. Few really good fights too. That said my punching bag gets a workout every now and then, I still do a few dozen push ups and sit ups every morning even if I have been a little less with it of late. Oh and I've custom ordered a dark blue hilted katana, a matching wakizashi and a matching smaller knife. I should get them Friday. I plan on gaining some real skills with them as I've heard you can do some amazing things with some Japanese steel. Even if it does cost a fortune... ^^;

Any new fights or style that you picked up?

Few fights, none memorable. Mainly small gangs of surfers, skate park bullies and the like. The kind who are fairly weak, yet like to start fights...
As for styles I've got my Rage Tsunami style as good as I think I could get it, and have been working on a more deceptive and flashy style I call 'Devil Redemption' style. It's more of a crowd pleaser than anything else though...
Also of note is that I may be getting sword lessons with an experienced swordsman. For free. Nice guy, and he seems to know what he's doing. Time will tell.

Not really. Same old same old over here. Someone talks shit to someone, it esculates, people get into fights, sometimes more people join in for the hell of it and its pretty sad honestly. It frustrates me how some people can't stand up for themselves and have to involve other people to help them in a fight. Pretty stupid....

Not really. Haven't been in a fight since last year in Septemeber. I don't look for fights. Only time I fight is when someone hits me first then I'm gonna fight back. Self-defense....

I haven't picked up any styles either. I'm thinking of going back into boxing again but that's still up in the air.

Anyways, I've been meaning to ask these two questions for a while....

Have you ever fought more then one person at a time during a fight?

Would you prefer fighting one on one with a person or getting other people involved?
