On the topic of "haitch", I obviously disapprove of its use. In Australia, one of the common excuses for saying it is the fact the letter makes a "huh" (I'm not sure how to write it. Hehe.) sound, so it needs that sound at the beginning. That is incorrect. The letters s, l, m and n, just to name a few, are all examples of letters which do not begin with their sound. I'm sure you can all appreciate how silly that sounds, as those of you who say haitch seem to say it because you were raised to?
