*face palm* Whatever Shane, knock yourself out. But I swear, your character kisses anybody and you're out of the clan! XD Nah, not really. It's RP battle, sex, species, and even if your organic at all really doesn;t matter 9/10
Are you sure no other girls signed up though? If so, thats odd. There's usually at least one out their trying to show her stuff. *shrug* Hell, Makoto, I'd figure you'd be in it up to your knees in blood.
Hmm...Dir in Grey...believe I've heard a few of their songs. I liked a couple, but oddly never really got into the band myself. Right now I'm on an Iced Earth kick. Considering the date of tomorrow, whats being released on that day, and all the jittery jazz that has been circulating around the web and the news recently, the song 'Damien' just seems appropriate.
Well technically, I 'was' the only female in the tournament until the currently last poster posted up his or her bio. So now there's two, but... I shall remain female for this. And don't worry Anomaly... I save my kissing for one man... er... wait a minute... what the hell 'am I talking about?
Anywhom... our clocks at work do military time, to the minute. I swear... if I clock in at 6:66 tomorrow I'am taking a vacation day.
I actually read the stuff about the tournament and so I've decided to enter after all. I will post my bio soon, so please wait for it! ^_^
Pfft.. I use male characters at least half the time, no one ever seems to so much as raise an eyebrow. :p
At any rate, good luck you three, and have fun.
:..2-2-7..:
I don't think anyones seen you use a male character in a while my dear wail of the beast...that could be why.
In other news, I'm working on a new sig set for regular masters. Hope to have that on the way to completion by the end of the week.
Also, Boondock Saints is an excellent movie. Totally unrelated but it is.
I haven't seen the movie actually. I guess it's quite good seeing as our Hot Topic in the area sells quite a few of the merchandise relating to that film.
By the way Serra... your pic is scury.
*comes to Shane in the night*
Can't you see my stunning beauty!?
MUHHAAHAAAAAA!
It's like there's a ball of some slimy substance just dangling at the end of tounge.... ewww...
Anywhom... time might be limited in the near future. I'll still be doing the tournament once it starts, but I have great semi personal news. Recently... I have been quite sick of just staying home, doing nothing... realizing what incredible reflexes I have... and not doing anything about it. Anywhom... I have contacted a certain sensei and when he gets back to me... hopefully I'll hear some great news. Other than that... the fighting style I have chosen to learn is none other than the one and only... *drum role* Kenpo... or Kempo, however you perfer to pronounce it. :D
I would of honestly perfered Jeet Kune Do, but since no one around this area teaches it... I'll have to take what I can.
I would like to be accepted as a new member of the masters if at all possible. Here are a couple samples of my ability....
Unexpected Encounter
3 Way Battle between myself and 2....RPBers......
Both of these are currently in progress.
Which is all well and good. It doesn't necissarily show experience but it shows willingness.
Tell me, do you know anything about story RP? If you could provide a small formal introduction of your character to the club, that would go some distance in aiding the Godhand in their decision to accept you or not.
Aha, Stroy RPG? Like TBRPGs? Yes, you could say I know a bit about story RPGs....
Check out Lhandria: Apocalypse in the RPG forum. It's mine....
I'll post a character intro in a while.
Well... still awaiting your intro. I wonder what it will look like. As for your RP you call Lhandria... I think I remember seeing it a long while ago, but... it's not there anymore, from what I looked over atleast. But yeah... good luck on your intro and I hope to see it soon. ^_^
Just figured I'd stick my head in real quick and let all of you know that the official tournament brackets are now up for your viewing pleasure here. Since so many of you are participating, I thought I'd call it to attention. ^_^
Yours,
That Ambassador Guy
Lovely. I shall take part in it the very day it opens. I'd like to say I could post right away not caring as to if I get the intro claim or not, but since I work... we'll see. I also start Kempo class that day, but that should only be about an hour to an hour and a half. But I'll most definatley be here.
Am I supposed to use my RPB character for my intro, or just any character?
But of course. You should think about using either Waarne or Cordienne for your intro. You could make a character out of scratch and see how far you get with it during your intro. But I remind you... add as much detail to your intro as possible. :pQuote:

Cordienne walked through the morning field, dew drops showering his legs with a pleasant, almost refreshing, feeling. He was not used to a feeling of such happiness, normally anything to 'splash' against his skin was the blood of another creature. If it was just a year prior to this moment this feeling of happiness would have disgusted him, but since he had met up with his brother, his life had changed a lot. He had acquired the feeling of compassion, and had been cured of the mental anguish that plagued his sanity.
He was unsure as to how and why he had found this place, but it was nice, it helped him feel relaxed.
A butterfly of assorted colours flew up to him and levetated peacefully in front of his face, which held an expression of love and inspiration.
"Cordienne!"
'WOAH!' he thought surprisedly, his expression soon turning to a confused one. '...Butterflies definately don't talk.'
"Cordienne!"
'AH, and definately not like my brother! Hang on a minute? Why the hell is this butterfly scaring me?
"Cordienne!"
UGH!
Cordienne sat up straight in the middle of a war torn battlefield.
"Christ, Cordienne, I thought you were done for!" screamed Waarne, his older brother. "Let's go! We're losing troops by the second!"
"Jesus, I was having a good dream..... I don't get those very often you know!"
"Get your ass in gear and cut the lip!"
"<inatimate mumbling>"
Cordienne and Waarne stand back to back in the center of the battlefield and break out into half sprints swiftly moving their weapons through the bodies of those who defy them. As Cordienne finally clears the area of any source of obvious danger he is hit from behind, by a large axe, and falls off of a cliff several stories high. As he looks up he sees his father standing there axe-in-hand. He hits bottom, HARD, knocking himself, once again, unconcious.
He opens his eyes to be greeted by a strange figure. He slowly stands and shakes hands with the being before him and he begins to talk of a group called The Masters.......
"Hey, hold on!" Cordienne angrily interrupts. "Am I dreaming again? Not cool."
Hope that was good enough. I didn't feel the need to include what the being who spoke of the Masters said because I wished to leave that open for my review. ("I have come to recruit you into a group of highly skilled warriors called the Masters." or "You really suck, go die." you know....)
BTW, Lhandria: Apocalypse can be found Here.
I forgot to mention that it is still a Discussion and recruitment thread, as anyone is yet to sign up :(. I have a feeling that the amount of reading involved frightens them. Anyway, check it out!
Hmm...not bad. I'll ask the other Godhand to review it. If it meets their standards we'll set up a small test battle. A formality really, if the Godhand approves, but its best to carry these things out completely by the rules.
Also an apology on the sigs. I thought we'd be on strike this week and I could get them done, but it seems we're still hard at work. I'll still try to work on them in my free time however, but I'm unsure when they'll be complete.
Am I going to get a test battle soon? Sorry to be a pest, but not only have I waited a couple days, but the RPBs I am in have died and I wanna get in another! Haha, just kidding take your time...
Well in any news... you sure show promise. Your eagerness is proof enough of this. In the case of the possibility that you are given your test bout, and you suceed, I would have a small favor of you. In short... I'am in need of the second genocide ordinate below me. If it is decided that you are to become one of The Master... then that will be the favor I ask of you.
Other than that... when is the tourney going up again?
Might I ask what the second genocide ordinate is? I am sure I would be glad to take you up on that offer, certain restrictions apply. (Haha)...
The section in bold is what you will be under my wing. Serra is currently my right hand ma... er... woman. ^_~ You will pretty much be my Left hand man. Unless Anomaly or Godean or any other of the Godhand object this possibility. If you are to be my left... you shall choose two elemental swords to be below you. Although truthfully... I do not expect you to go out and just pick two random fighters. They do not have to be a part of the Masters at the time you choose them, but... it is essential that they become as such... later on down the road. Hell... I don't even expect you to pick two right away. It is okay for one to take their time in these decisions.Quote:

It was supposed to happen last night, and then it was supposed to happen today by noon. I got caught up protecting some friends from some gang activity in their neighborhood, so I didn't even get home until just now. I swear, why do these preteen assholes think it's fun to pull guns on twelve year olds?Quote:

Well if that's the case, then please... take your time. I grew up in Kansas City and I still live in not too far from the area. It's just as bad as it was before I moved... if not worse.
Well, it's not by any means a bad neighborhood... just a handful of bad kids. The area was really calm and such up until about a month ago when one of those kids pulled a gun on my friend's little brother. Then they broke into his cousin's car and stole $200 worth of CDs and a pair of knives as well as a handful of other odds and ends. Last night, we finally got the cops involved because we saw the thief loitering in the middle of the street when we got back from the movie we'd gone to see. Since we had concrete proof that this kid was the thief (one of the other brothers saw him with one of the unique mix CDs at work yesterday), we managed to get a pair of patrol cars involved.
It didn't get messy, but now their house is a marked house. Half an hour after the cops FINALLY left (mind you, it was nearly 4am this morning), three cars stopped just down the street, all of them running headlights and pointing at Drew's house. Then they started rolling by one at a time, slowly, over and over all morning. Yeah... it wasn't the ideal situation. I ended up staying over since I knew I could stay up until seven or eight with ease, and I basically sat under a window and watched all night.
Ridiculous shit, if you ask me.
Holy Shitballs! You don't call that a bad neighbourhood? I'd be scared out of my shits! heheh...
We're generally peaceful up here in good ol' Canada.
It was a really good neighborhood until a few people decided to move into the area. I live about a mile and a half away... my neighborhood is a safe neighborhood, fortunately. There's at least a dozen gang kids who actually live in this neighborhood, but they don't bring their stuff home. It's like one of the unspoken rules of gangs or something like that. As much as I don't like living near them, I don't have to worry about break-ins or taggings or violence in my neck of the woods because gangs don't generally go into each others' home turf.
*sigh*
And to think, I moved to the south side of town to escape all of this to begin with.
That's because people in Canada are high 90% of the time. :p But I do realize that there death rate for the entire country is quite low. I can't say much for the 130 murders that occour around this area annualy. ;_;
Now... I shall ask that the posting here be kept to a minimum Slim. Nothing against you, but... the I'am guessing the Godhand are still deciding and shall do so accordingly. As to however long that lasts... we'll see. I wouldn't want any of them to get upset from what appears to be spam on the way. :p
