Can't wait for people to start playing.
Welcome to the Castle Crashers of TFF.
I decided to make this club when I realised just how many TFFers had xbox live (and likely other services as well). It's purpose will be to serve as a hub of sorts for games held between TFFers via the online experiences of the Xbox360, Nintendo Wii and PS3.
In general, it's mainly for games such as Castle Crashers and other arcade type games, but feel free to organise any other online games. To start off, post an introduction including any gamertags or other contact info you'd like to add as well as any favoured games and I'll edit it in to this post.
Entry is open to anyone and everyone and I have decided there will be no hierarchal format and rules are as per normal TFF rules. Everyone will be equal here, including myself, I'll just be editing in contact details to the bottom of this post. Hopefully that's clear enough...

Can't wait for people to start playing.
I will join this club if for no other reason than to increase the amount of time I can waste.
I don't have an Xbox and to be honest, I don't particularly like Castle Crashers, so don't count on me for that. But for PS3 and Wii, I'm there.
PS3 tag: Tinaray
Favoured game/s: Resistance 2, Little Big Planet and COD 5. I'm only listing online games mind you. I've been meaning to try Metal Gear Online as well, but haven't yet.
Wii tag: I don't know. Honestly, I'm not even sure how to check/create it. Clearly the title "Wii (We)" was lost on me. Although if someone could direct me on that, I'll find it/set it up and post it.
Favoured game/s: Smash Bros and Mario Kart (not a lot else really).
Cheers.
Until now!
The Wii number was a bit of a pain to find...
Whether or not there are other ways, I found the easiest thing is:
Wii Message Board > Create Message > Address Book>
It states the Wii Number there.

OLD SKOOL - A positive appellation referring to when things weren't flashy but empty of substance, were done by hard work, didn't pander to the lowest common denominator, and required real skill. Labour-saving devices, shortcuts that reduce quality and quitting before the task is done are not characteristics of "old skool."
In reference to computer games, refers to a game that had substantial playability without flashy graphics or eye candy. Old skool gamers appreciate difficult maneuvers, careful planning, and scorched earth policies.
In reference to role-playing games, old skool refers to games that tested players' wits, could kill off careless characters, and required dedication and inner strength to play. Old skool games didn't pander to the ideas that everyone is created equal, that all options are open to all races, that the markets were somehow free, and that a quasi-medieval society could have near 100% literacy.

Other games I play online on my 360: PES2009, Soul Calibur 4, and CoD4 until I can get CoD5. If I'm online feel free. And anyone can add me no problem.
I'll put my PSN up when I can remember it as the last time I went on it was around three months ago

Can't let Jin be the only PS3er around. I don't do online much though, if only because I own so few games, and only one of them actually has online play capabilities.

I don't do terribly much online with the PS3, since the servers are pretty failed up. I do have most of my racing games on the PS3 though, as well as any of the first party titles. Here's a list of what you can probably convince me to play online on PS3:
• LittleBigPlanet
• Need for Speed: Undercover
• Need for Speed: Pro Street
• Rock Band 1
• Soul Calibur IV (but only if the servers are playing nice that day)
I have Madden 09 on PS3 but... online... joke... hahahaha... ew. No. I have lots of other stuff as well but it's mostly offline or has atrocious online for the system.
As for the 360, I picked that one up for online specifically (and, well, the RPGs since all of the good ones are going there...), so here's a relevant list for that as well:
• Call of Duty: World at War
• Castle Crashers (XBLA)
• Fable II
• Forza Motorsports 2
• Gears of War
• Gears of War 2
• Halo 2
• Halo 3
• Marvel Ultimate Alliance
• Rock Band 2
• TMNT 1989 Arcade
• Worms (XBLA)
I also have a laundry list of other titles for the 360 as well, but they're all offline only.
As for the Wii... Mario Kart is the only game with good online play.
For those of you who already have my cell phone number, any time you wish to play something, spam a text message my way. If you have very limited or no texting, feel free to call. If I don't answer right away, I'm really good about calling back immediately after. Usually, if I miss it, it's because I am working or in a movie (but will still call back while at work most of the time). I sleep such odd hours that I rarely ever miss phone calls that way. Try to contact me with a messenger is made of fail and lose. I have them but rarely ever use them. You can also send an email to my gmail account as my phone parses my account every 15 minutes. Consider it a free way to text if you are lacking phone.
If you want my information and don't have it, send me a PM. I won't give it out to anyone I don't feel I know particularly well (sorry, newer members, but you should understand that).

Anyone up for Castle Crashers this weekend?
Shoot me a PM and I should be able to get on no problems. I think Ann is planning to play sometime this weekend, so anyone else....Get to it!

Haha, nice talking to you, Violet and Silver via the party chat function on XBL tonight! Too bad I was busy playing Halo and am still too poor to get some MS points, I will have to remedy that problem very soon. And for the record, Silver sounds like a silly Australian

Yeah, that was pretty cool.
Sadly though we had some issues with CC and never quite got to play some three player. My consolation is by the time Ann and Joe get a character to 99 a patch may be released. =D

haha, Silver DOES sound like a silly Australian! XD
But yeah, that was freaking awesome, even if the resident Aussie didn't get to play too. Too bad we couldn't talk Mistress Sheena into getting on, but all's well that ends well

Well. I just didn't see the point of talking there or MSN. They were both the same thing, and I don't like talking, hence why I said MSN instead. I don't know about other people, but my comp is right next to my TV...
Well the extremely early first reviews for Killzone 2 are out and so far it doesn't look to have disappointed. I expect PS3 owners to be online every so often, assuming the online holds up. If not, there's always bots.
Seriously, you guys are never online.
Until now!
Yeah, they say PS3 is hit and miss in terms of online and for me it's a horrible miss. I can never stay connected long or well during games. It wouldn't surprise me if I'm connecting to a AU server that's a good deal shoddier than a US alternative, or something like that.
I get the feeling I'd feel the PS3 was a great deal better with a better implemented and more integrated approach to online gaming. But hey, it's free!
Looks like I'm gonna need to find me a good way of playing some local games if Killzone 2 is as good as sources are showing. I'm still wondering if it'll even beat Unreal Tournament 3 for me...
victoria aut mors
You have to keep in mind that this is Sony's first attempt at an integrated online service. PS2 online stuff was left up to developers. Microsoft has had years to fine tune Xbox Live and it shows. Although to be honest, I haven't had any trouble online with my PS3, other than slow download speeds. Mind you, I don't play a lot online.
I'm definately going to attempt it for Killzone. It just looks so sexy.
Until now!
Hence hit or miss. Talking to several people, some have absolutely no problems whereas others (like myself) have one hell of a hard time with it. I've personally tried several different configurations and have a lot of success with Xbox Live and the Wii's online also seems quite peachy, but my PS3 don't seem to wanna play nice.
Although, yeah, downloads almost always seem a bit slower though usually stable for most I've talked to. I'm yet to try playing PS3 games locally but, hopefully that's a viable option which some of the better games will support.
