just introducing myself....

hey everyone, my names alyssa. ive been lurking around here for a while now but only recently joined.
im kinda a FF n00b compared to most here. the first one i played was XII when it was first released (a friend had me try it out as a stress reliever heh.) but im slowly making my way backwards through the series. so far the ones ive played are XII (beat, and also my favorite so far), X, VIII, VII, crisis core and tactics (war of the lions). and, of course, XIII when it's released here in the states.


anyway, i just wanted to say hi and say that ya'll seem like nice people

Anyway, don't worry about being a "noob" to the franchise. We all start somewhere. Glad you liked XII. It's one of my favorites in the series. I never thought about picking it up for a stress reducer though, but if it works, then awesome. More of a reason to keep on gaming.

REally it is not a question of how long you have played or which one of the games you have beaten. It is about the series in which we all love and have have somewhat let become a part of our lives at one point or another.

I just wanted to step in and say that I hope you sitck around. I am curious if you are younger or older? With XII being your first I would assume younger but something about your writing style tells me your a little older then the normal teen age when people are pulled into the series.

If you'd like suggestions, you should play Final Fantasy IX, since that one is really, really good. XII is excellent, too, so you have good tastes in my mind. =D I hope you enjoy the place, now, and no leaving, either; it's prohibited. =]

actually i just turned 24 a couple weeks ago. so...i guess im sort of a "late bloomer". i had always been into video games but i never had a PS system 'til i was in college and i bought a ps3. i grew up playing a LOT of zelda though.
