Let me quote some rules for you then Che
What Toph considers to be acceptable isn't the same as what I deem acceptable.Spam is one of the hardest things on the internet to define. Everyone has his or her own definition of what it entails; even amongst staff here at TFF, we have varying opinions of what constitutes spam. In an attempt to clarify, I have decided to use some examples.
So where in that statement does it say that it is acceptable in this area of the forum? It simply says that post count does not apply in this area of the forum.SHORT POSTS, 1.2: There are other instances in which short posts may also be appropriate. For example, most topics in the "Word Games & Humor" forum have spam-like qualities, and such responses are perfectly fine at all times. All posts made in the Word Games & Humor forum, along with those in the Member Business forum, do not count toward your total post count, considering the nature of the posts in those forums.
Also note it states "spam-like" there is a difference between spam and "spam-like". If you are going to make a post then it should some what be relevant to the topic at hand. This thread is a welcome thread there for you should be welcoming the new member not trying to proove the worth of the term "babe". Also with the variences of the word "babe" for all you know she could be referencing her age, meaning young. There for could of just asked a minor to post pictures on this site that could be deemed inappropirate.
Note the last line. This part of the forum rules still apply to this area of the forum also. If you are going to quote the rules then maybe you should post all of them or atleast read over them.SHORT POSTS, 1.3: All other posts should contain some decent amount of content. If the topic is "What is your favorite band," the response should have more content than "Band Name." Tell us WHY it is your favorite. Most topics in the forum will ask for some type of explanation, rather than just an answer. This is what separates discussion threads from lists. This applies to threads forum-wide. There are times when a witty, one-liner response may be appropriate, so long as it stays within other guidelines of the forum.
Also next time you feel like calling me out on something or have a question take it to a PM or VM. This kind of derailment is uncalled for and should not of taken place here in the thread but since you wanted to make your questions public then I decided that the responce should be public also. Now if you wish to carry on this conversation then I recommend taking it to a PM / VM.
Now once again lets get this thread back on track.
