    Hey there

Hey all, quite new to this fourm so thought would make a new thread just giving a short into on myself.

I have made a similar post, but was informed by one of the mod to make a new one so not to detour from that user intro (sorry Carnage). was un-clear if i needed to make a new thread as a similar thread had been started at around the same time.

Anyway seriously enjoy the FF series, looking really forward to FF XIV and have been enjoying MMORPG's the past 5/6 years (since i was around 16/17, currently 23).

I enjoy soicalizing with friends and other people, I don't get wound up easily and find that i am quite an easy-going person. I enjoy many sports (though probably don't play enough).

If you'd like to know more (nothing too personal mind), just ask.

look forward to speaking to you all

    Re: Hey there

    Welcome to TFF!
As for the threads thing, it's one thread per member welcomed but you generally can get away with related stuff in most other areas from what I've seen.
See you around the forums and hopefully you'll stick around.

    Re: Hey there

Dynamo! I am glad you did as I recommended. Now I can properly welcome you to TFF also haha.

Welcome to TFF. As far as I know some of the people on forum are talking about forming a guild for XIV. Might be something you can look into.

As for me I am not to big into MMORPGs. Outside of FF's which other ones do you play?

I hope to see you around the forum. I like your posting style and would like to have some conversations with you.

    Happy posting!

    Re: Hey there

Aye will look into that, slowly browsing the fourms at the moment - also asked people i have played with in other MMO's which ones they are interested in.

I have played quite a few really

    FF XI -First 2 expansions
WoW - Still playing (around 5 years now)
WAR - Played first few months
Aion - Played for first 6 months
Guildwars - Only the first one, none of the expansions

I only left FF XI due to not being able to get into a active/good linkshell, due to A level exams and alot of people were put of because i was under 18 (just).
This was my first proper MMO so in some ways didn't really know what to expect, but i did really enjoy it more then i ever have with WoW.

Guildwars i just didn't like it all that much

WAR - Liked this alot, only serious issue was very high lag at the time (which made people leave)

Aion - liked this game a fair amount - got into a ok legion and then (as some may know) the players left (to begin with was quees into servers and some lag (not too much though))

WoW - joined this mainly because of my younger brother (14 months) and it looked interested, was easy to get into a active/friendly guild, was over 18 this time just which helped when applying to guilds. For me this game is interesting (not as much as it used to be) and enjoying the soical side more then the game if i am being honest.

Next MMO - FF XIV without a doubt. Been looking forward to a new FF MMO for many years, and been excited about hearing this one for the last 12/18 months or so. Signed up to the beta mid Dec (but so far no luck).

A few people that i have played WoW with are interested in FF 14 (and some from Aion as well), however most seem to be waiting for Star Wars : The Old Republic. Personally for me this seems like it will be an OK game, though microtransactions seem to be the way of payment for that game (which is an off put to me + no a fan of SW, thought the films were OK, nothing more)

With MMO's i find i am more likely to stay for a long time should i get into a friendly/active group of people (probably like most) as this increases (in my opinion) the enjoyment of a game, by working as a team to reach a objective.

Also the soical side, grouping up with different people all the time is ok for the beginning, but it is much much nicer to get into a similar minded group of people, in which to have a laugh (about in-game and RL matters)

I look forward (to hopefully) playing along side many of you guys
