I've been a game players for many years...

Not bragging...I don't claim to be the best player...or the most knowledgeable...

I'm just a game player who favors rpgs....

FF is my favorite series but I also like others including Ogre battle, Breathe of Fire, Grandia, Persona, Disgaea, and Baldur's Gate...

Sometimes I have gotten into trouble on other forums for expressing negative views about certain games...which other people have liked..so I intend to avoid that and only express views about what I like here......

I wish you all well and hope we have a lot of fun...

With FFXIII, verses and Agito coming out we should have a lot to discuss...

Welcome to TFF, where you will find a lot of people like-minded, in that have played video games for many years, with them often favoring the RPG genre. I like your other series choices! I'm a big fan of the Shin Megami Tensei (Persona Predecessor) and BoF series as well.

And it's okay to be different! as long as you stand up for your opinions and back it up with credible information, then people may still disagree with you but respect your opinions nonetheless. What I'm trying to say is if you post more than just one or two sentences in discribing your opinions, then you'll be okay here.

Ahh an expririanced newer member, very nice. I am curious though are you refering to the original Ogre Battle or the one for the PSX?

I still have a copy of the old supernintendo Ogre battle, sadly another family member threw away my old supernintendo machine...

I love Ogre battle..Square apparently owns the rights through Enix so I wish they would make a new one...I hope they don't see it as too much of a competitor to FF so aren't interested in continuing the franchise.I hope that's not the case.

well it's safer to be noncontroversial so that's what I intend to try to be...

I just want to discuss games and not get into arguments..about which is better or why I don't like this or that...
So I'll do my best to let others argue and try to be a peaceful wolf..

Ahh I see, sorry to be honest I was trying to figure out what generation of gamer you are haha. That pretty much gives me a good age range to work with haha. Sucks to hear about the loss of the SNES.

Really a total bypass of confrontation in my opinion is not adviseable here, some types of confrontation can be very benificial to a conversation as long as it is not used in a negative way. It could open up a direction in a thread or just cause another user to ad a little more insight into their opinion. Over all we are here to have fun discussing something we all have in common.
