Actually I would have to disagree strongly with you. Just because our community is small doesn't mean that we are non-existent. Nor that it would go unnoticed.
Our community is unlike any other forum you have been on . I know it is this way for me.
Any which way it goes, it was nice to meet you and I hope you reconsider your decision to leave. We are like family here and are always more then willing to accept new people in.

I don't know what 'work' you're talking about, but you just have to get used to the way we roll.
We're a lot more tight knit than other communities you're used to (500+ or 100,000+ or whatever), so I'm sorry to see you wanting to leave something like this without even giving it a fair chance.
Quoted for truth. A lot of bigger communities are rather impersonal, but also the smaller communities can get boring quick too. I say here we have a good balance, and a lot of our members have been around in the community for long periods of time, but yet here we are also very family-like and it's easy to get to know one another. I apologize for everyone here that all of your great works (all 30 posts and 6 terrible threads worth of it) have gone unnoticed in the four days you've been here. Why you haven't been immediately modded or admined is beyond me. Really.

I think you joined at the wrong time. It's the summer for most people, so not everyone is around as often. Also, as stated above, this is a closely knit community - most of us are all good friends.
You should have stayed around to give us a chance. I saw some of your threads and posts around, and it was good to see someone newer contributing/getting their hands dirty.
Anyway, good luck with whatever you're off to do now. Unless you decide to stay. Bai.

It seems pretty odd you would leap into joining a place before knowing even something as apparent as that... On the other hand I believe the comments about it being summer are backwards depending on the individual. Those in school or college would have more time in the summer to post than they do during the school period. Of course, those who have full-time jobs could be on vacation, especially this week and next, with it being a holiday weekend and all.
