I have a few questions, one why does this have a pretty fair amount of spam?

Why is this thread in FFVI when it almost completely does not talk about FFVI anymore?

And why has it not been moved back to the club forum, since we are accepting game clubs again?

This is an extremely off topic thread for being in the FFVI. It is an old club thread that refuses to remember that it is in the FFVI forum and not the club forum.

2. It's an old school gaming club, not just FFVI. It was actually created here and reborn because Cesar was the mod of this forum at the time.
3. I guess it's just been because of laziness that it has not been moved back.

And it's not off topic, the topic is whatever we make, heh. And currently we didn't really have any topics, just the reunion of Juice and the others.

Well if it is old school gaming in general, then this is completely the wrong forum for it and needs to be moved immediately for being in a FFVI forum, which means only FFVI. So something needs to be done with the thread, whatever it is, if it is a club, move it to the club forum, if it is a something else, well hate to say it, but needs to be closed because a general chatting thread about random stuff is what the spam thread is for.

So really if this is suppose to be a club, move it there it. If it is suppose to be a FFVI club, yeah move it there. If it is suppose to be a general FFVI talk, then it is fine where it is. If it is a general old school thread, it needs to be moved to the General Gaming forum. Whatever it is, there needs to be something done about it.

Well I am butting my business in now, I really do not care what you think Dawezy. The thread has been bugging me for a while and I noticed it today again and remembered something needed to done about it. And I have gone and read the intro post of this and it was a club as I remember correctly. So get this club back into my forum now where it belongs. It is not solely talking about FFVI and we have moved threads in the past for being off topic and this is sorely off topic. I do not care if this have been operating here for ten years or ten days, this is a club thread not a FFVI and it is in voliation of the forum rules for being in the wrong place and Loco should as well as Piroblaze and you too Dawezy agree with me on this because you are the staff and know the rules. The only reason you have not moved to it where it belongs is because you are letting personal interest cloud your judgment. Which if I recall, Loco was riding Strong Bad and another mod about taking the bias out.

Fact, this is stated as a club by the first post.
Fact, it was originally a club before the no game rule was made for clubs.
Fact, I have retracted that rule.
Fact, this club is about old school gaming.
Fact, this forum is FFVI.
Fact, this forum does not say anything about general old school gaming.
Fact, this club does not belong here under common sense and the rules that you are all force to obey as you so often move newbie threads that are misplace.

I accept that this club was moved to be allowed to exist during the gaming club ban, but that been lifted, a while ago. And should have been returned back to where it belongs in the club forum.

This club is moving back to the Club Forum, NOW! Deal with it and it is my business Dawezy because guess what this is a club which puts in my territory. So let me do my job, because if you are claiming this as anything else than a club, you are in even more troubles. You want your thread, it is a club, if you want to argue it something else other than a club you are going find this thread closed or moved to general gaming since it is clearly not FFVI solely which this forum is meant for.

This thread was in the wrong forum has been for a while and needed to be corrected. I corrected the error that was made. You can continue your normal activities, just in the club forum where this thread actually belongs.

I may not have noticed it a year ago, but I noticed it now and I am correcting the mistake that was done. This is final, this is a club until your leader/original poster says it is not club. And when it does not become a club there needs to be a serious talk about this thread.

...umm, I am the one who made the executive decision to keep the CULT OF KEFKA in the Final Fantasy VI forum. We might not always talk about FFVI, and in fact, we might not always talk about old school games in general, and we might not even talk about videogames at all, but moving this into the Clubs forum makes it nothing more than a broad club for multiple games and general discussion. By the clubs rules, it is too broad and would be shut down.

I honestly could care less if you have a problem with that. This has nothing to do with bias or playing favorites or anything. This is an intelligent thread (most of the time) with a bunch of old members who carry on conversations in peace. Moving it into any other forum would destroy that, and since the heart of the thread is still FFVI, I intend to keep it here.

You said to wait for the "club" starter to post, right? Well, here I am.

If it makes you happy, I'll remove the word club from the first post. We're less of a club and more of a community anyway, since we don't have any activities to speak of.

CP: Kingdom Heats II

Collecting 20/25/30 items of EVERY material to complete the Journal sure is a pain, but I did it. Last night, I was trying to complete the Coliseum, but the game just FROZE all of a sudden I had gotten pretty far (without saving). Well at least I know NOW that Stitch and Peter Pan are the keys to getting a high score.

Whoa! Drama! Man, it's amazing what one can miss over a period of a couple of hours...or days, in my case.

So uh, an executive decision has been made, I suppose. I remember the good ol' days, when KC and I started the CoK. We were actually some kind of roleplaying club. I'm pretty sure we're past that point now.

On a side note; I love it when the weather gets warm. Tanned beauties in short skirts on the waterfront = Boo yeah.

It's funny, perhaps due to the warm weather, but I've had a craving to play Star Tropics recently. Damned good game to boot. One of my favourites from back in the day.

Currently Playing: The Prince of Persia Trilogy

I've been wanting to try out this series for the longest time, and a few weeks ago I managed to find The Sands of Time, and I must say, I was fairly blown away. Albeit ridiculously easy, it was an amazing gaming experience, perhaps the best that I've had in recent years. Everything about the game worked so well. Then I went out and bought Warrior Within. I agreed with many of the reviews that I read. Although a lot of the game mechanics had been improved, it's like they abandoned the charm of the first game and covered it over with flashy, edgy crap. I eventually warmed up to the game some more, but only because I tried to forget about how fun the first game was. Now I'm onto The Two Thrones. I think the PoP series is quite similar to the Matrix Trilogy. The first one is incredible, something new and fresh. The second and third were just thrown in there. They added to a story that ended somewhat ambiguously in the first but at the same time left the viewer satisfied. They really didn't care whether or not man and machine would eventually coexist. Leaves room for the imagination.

Bit of a rant there.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the fact that the inclusion of Godsmack totally ruined Warrior Within for me.

I had a feeling it was going to get moved back.

But right now, I'm currently playing Eternal Eyes. The story of the game plays really quickly, and even though it does, you're still able to level up really high. The max level is 99, and my characters are in their late 40s and early 50s. I'm on Chapter 7 out of 10.

The premise of the game is that you are the race of the Eternal Eyes, who are different than normal human beings, because they have Crimson Eyes and can bring dolls to life with certain Jewels, therefore creating Magical Puppets to fight with. There's a possible 160 different monsters that you can get, but the only number of them you can use is 2 in your party, because the max party number is 3.

The battle system is a lot like Final Fantasy Tactics. I guess you could say it's a blend of FFT and Pokemon, heh. Game Informer gave it a 7.5 or something like that. But the second opinion was a 2, lol.

But it's pretty good. I like it a lot, and it was a really good bargain at 3$, lol.

Let's see... old skool gaming. Yep, I think I'm old enough to remember that. Hell, I played Pitfall on the origial Atari. How awesome am I? lmao. I like the old mega man, I've got their anniversary collection for the PS2... ummm.... oooh oooh sonic! lmao.

Currently playing? Right now I'm alternating between my Kingdom Hearts II and my Mega Man collection. I've beaten MM2 and MM3 (those are my faves) and am tackling the original one. It's a bitch.

Well, on a final note about the location of this thread... if Andromeda can give me a couple more real convincing reasons why this should be in the clubs forum, I will move it back there. Reasons ASIDE from the fact that we're a club and that our content isn't always FFVI-related. Those, I already know.

He's got a point, you know... that IS where this thread belongs. And we can always just reject anyone who we feel doesn't really belong here. We've always been a touch more exclusive with our member base. We may have a lot of members, but most of them are vets and post a certain way, one with which we are accustomed to.

I'm not completely against this thread being there, I just don't want an influx of stupidity. But you know what? We can handle it. Dawezy and Dauragon have just as much right as I do to allow or deny members, so it's not like people will always have to wait for just my response.

Anyway, Andro and I have taken it to PM, so we'll see what happens. If I move it back, don't be disappointed... it just means I've found the motive behind this whole little forum drama episode. Thing. Stuff. Whatever. Just remember, the CP is now required on every post, whether you're actually playing anything or not.

And yes, Tiffany, I think you'd make a wonderful addition to the Cult.

Well, as I said at 2:15 this morning, I fixed my videocard. I honestly have NO idea what the hell I did. I tried a dozen different things because I didn't have my ATI hardware installation disc, nor did I have internet. (I was at a friend's, I got online after I fixed it.) I'm thinking it might have been the dxdiag, but I can't be sure.

In any case, my CP now consists of Counter-Strike: Source and Final Fantasy XI.

As far as anything old school goes, I don't really have anything at the moment.

But in other gaming news tho (CP I suppose) I been whipping out Postal 2 and a handfull of ROMs on the old SEGA Genesis and the SEGA CD - its surprising actually with those CD iso's. The quality and smooth gameplay compared to the normal carts is amazing o_o especially with the FMV sequences.. you guys remember Puggsy? yeah, I downloaded the iso so I dont get slapped with the demo error. And its fucking brilliant.

Hell if I can remember those level codes, theres about 40 digits involved XD ack.

I've had it with Oblivion's constant freezes and errors. If I can stand not playing it, then I'm off it for a long while. Other than that, I just got the new version of the EuropaEuropa (now called EE3) mod for Civ4, so I'm looking forward to starting some historic shit on that gigantic map of Europe.
