Well, let's see... for most people, the only thing you have to do is ask right here in this thread, and I say "yeah, sure, you're cool enough" and that's that.

But, before I do the same for you, may I ask a question? You do realize what the Cult is about, right? If so, hell, welcome to the gathering. Of course, since you asked in a PM, which has never happened before, I do have one tiny request...

There's a topic here in FFVI that I'd like you to post in, because I'm interested in your opinion, as well as the inner workings of your mind.

The surgery is a definite, though there's still no set date. Either the end of next week, or the start of the week after. On Monday, I've gotta do a nuclear scan, where they inject me with radioactive materials and scan the kidney while they watch where my pee goes.

...weird, right? I thought so too. Anyway, it sucks, but I'll be happier when I get it all behind me. Six weeks of bedrest after surgery though, so I don't know how much I might be on the computer. Ideally, all the time, playing FFXI and FFLegends with you guys... but after having a robot dig through my back and splice into my left kidney, I don't know how much sitting up I may be able to do.

Eh... it's okay though. I'm really nervous about it, but I'll be glad when it's over with.


Scorp, when you get a chance, take part in the Cult's current activity... firing up a cartridge (or ROM) from the 8bit era that you haven't played in a long time. It'll give you something to do in your boredom.

Yeah, my ADSL is still being a fucking slut and constantly disconnecting anytime I send a byte of data over the wireless network. Damn thing, after all the phone company technicians coming around to our house to check out the problem.. its all been perfect, the condition of the network that is. So we have pinned it down to the damn modem/routers themselves for shitting us around.. if its not them, then fuck.. whats one to do eh?

Playin FFIIj, and I'm getting some quite impressive stats.. too lazy to upload the damn thing though.

Actually, I won't be slurping jack shit. It's an injection, right into the bloodstream. My grandfather had to do one a while back for his prostate, and they injected him in the shoulder. Dunno where they might stab me with the needle though. The information I read said that every test is different, so they could be putting the needle right into my kidney for all I know.

*shrug*

You know, maybe you and I need to move off of the ADSL and onto some sort of cable connection instead. Then, FFXI will run faster, too.
