Headed out in a few minutes to finally buy the new FFXI expansion, as well as a new PS2 memory card since I lost my other one a couple weeks ago.
I'll probably start gaming again on Monday night.
Until then... no CP, as it has been for a couple weeks now. :(

I'm here for a moment. ^^
Over at a friend's for the evening, so putting in a word.
Situation on the net: I was connected via router through my downstairs neighbors. They apparently didn't pay the bill for about the last 4 months or so, without bothering to let me know, so I now have no net connection. They also seperated, so I'm guessing it won't be back on anytime soon. I'm most likely gonna take a different friend of mine up on the offer to move in with him and his mom, since 1) I've lived with them before, and they make good living neighbors really, and 2) He already offered to keep the net connection paid up. ^^
Spending time now working on a wallpaper using my Mithra, current main jobs (PLD and NIN for those of you who don't know =P ) and my current gear and/or wanted gear. 1280x1024 on mine, that way I can actually have a desktop wallpaper at the same rez I use. Let me know if anyone else wants one, I can check in again some time and see what's up. ^^

Remember how I said I'd start gaming again on Monday night? Well, it's Monday night, and I've already installed the expansion and I'm picking up the remainder of the updates online. Yep, I'll be whoring myself to MMOs again in a short while.
Of course, that will probably inspire me to play other games, too.
I bought a new PS2 memory card at the same time I got the expansion, so I'll be able to replay Kingdom Hearts again before purchasing Kingdom Hearts 2. (Yes, I do have Chain of Memories, and yes, I will play that as well.)

In other news, I love it when employment agencies fuck up and waste my time -.- sigh. You see I'm covered by my doc and some certificates about me not being stable enough to do some lines of work, now that IS noted on my records for Centrelink (government department, financial aid to those without work) but he still somehow managed to send off some appointment forms. He rang up Centrelink direct and they told him he screwed up just about.

Also been pondering taking my Austar (cable tv with all the funky channels) out to stop the constant sucking of money from my account. Still pondering the move however, there IS some nice stuff on there but I dont watch it much besides maybe trying to wake up in the mornings and whenever the Cricket Season is on (November through to April/May usually) but aside from that not much really. Missed a few weeks of X-Play because I just plain well forget to turn it on..
Got halfway through that Alone in the Dark DVD too, its based off a uber old game series for those who didnt know. Need to whip that shit back out and finish watchin it, but maybe I should do it .... IN THE DARK! ... wooo.

Aussie: They have newer Alone In The Dark games actually, but none of them are as good as those old ones. The first two I remember the most: The origional and Hell's Kitchen. Those were some fun games :D

Well, I'm back for a while...sort of. ^^;
Long story short, there's been violence at the place where I live now, and I'm not gonna be stickin around there any longer than I absolutely have to. All of my more important stuff (i.e. games and comp) have been moved to my friends' place, and is now here on a 'until further notice' basis. And they have net, and they're letting me leech. Yay! ^^ So I will be back around a bit more now, just not quite at my usual all hours of the clock pattern. :D

Why is it in FF7 , when yuffie steals your materia you can't kick her ass? I wanted to bitch slap her soooo bad. I have been having trouble memorizing whay materia does what, and also what to use agaunst certain creatures. I guesss I need to bursh up with the manual a little more. I think cool colors do well woth cool colors, but then why can't I use all with every character?? Or can I ...i am confused. Memorizing it all is really tough.

As half of you very well know, my CP as of late has been Counter-Strike: Source and not much else at all. Sorry about that, but I've been on a major binge... you all know how it goes as we've all done it with various games over the years... I just happen to be binging on an online FPS instead.

But anyway, my copy of Eternal Eyes just came in.
But I've been playing Starcraft as of late. My fellow clanies have gotten better than I am while I was away, and now I can't beat them. I hate when that happens. Though, I guess that means I still have improving to do. Or something.
Just dropping in a quick note for now to let everyone know that I have finally gotten the wireless router to get my system back online. Actually, in spite of the asianization of Cloud & Co. I would suggest seeing it. The movie is good. Plus seeing Cloud dual wielding is admittedly bad-ass. Of a greater note on that matter tho, Tifa looks ****in uber-hot. 'Nuff said. :D

I must agree whole heartedly with Zro....Tifa does look UBER F***IN HOTT!!! And in defense, not all the characters were asianized. Cid and Barret definitely had some anglo qualities to them. But all in all it was prolly the best hour and a half of cgi I have ever seen, again, and again, and again.........
After seeing AC... i suddenly have a very warm spot for Cid, he just looked, so.... hot? *sighs like a school girl*
xDD All the characters looked ****in amazing imo, tho barret did look a little gay, *giggles* It was the mesh shirt i think.
I do wish it had followed a more normal story line (beginning, middle end) sorta thing, and would have loved to see more of yuffie, Cid, Red etc. oh well. I'll watch it again, from about half way one and just be a happy girl!

Eh, as for Barret's look in AC, I didn't think it was too bad. Although, he did get one of my favorite lines in that movie. "You're late bitch!" XD Mind you, my version is one of the fansubs, but hey, I have no doubt that's what he yelled at Cloud. XD And if nothing else, the fight scene between Tifa and Loz is nuckin futs. Him and that damned cheapshot glove tho. ~.~
All the AC talk reminds me of that old FF:TSW movie.
When you compare the two they are actually kinda simular in terms of design, only major difference is that AC has more of a story to it.. TSW is kinda.. meh? had some good characters and actual accurate lip synching. lol Albeit from being a bit more asianized then AC be.... hell, I'm probably one of the few (very very few) who actually thought TSW was actually quite a good movie ^^
