Well, I guess I should pop back in for a visit. Gas is outrageous, I hate it. I remember when $20 set you for a good half tank. Maybe a little less... Anyway, now $20 is gone in a flash. I'm not really getting a car right now. I use my mom's car until I go off to college this Spring or so. I sold my car so I could have more money to get to College. I would like to get a smaller car though, when the time comes. Clinton's drop out of the race has not swayed my vote in anyway. I am just having problems decided, I like both of the candidates. As for the China menu, . That is funny, sensible too, I guess. I don't really watch the Olympics, at least I am not able to, because of a conflict of schedule prevents it. I don't particularly have a favorite sport.

So with no decline of gas prices going up, have you thought about getting a smaller car to help with save some money. My car is a tank when it comes to gas mileage. If I had to guess, I'd say my little Ford Escort gets about 35 miles per gallon. Which makes up for all the other shit that sucks about it. But damn it. I love that car. With Clinton droping out of the presidential race have you decided to sway your vote any? HAHAHAHAHA. No. Did you hear that China is forcing its resteraunts to reduce the number of items they serve on their menus to reduce the chance of offending forigners during time of the Olympic games. So yeah dog is off the menu! How do you type out a rim shot? Anyway, if China wants to change something in hopes of not offending foreigners, why not change their COMMUNIST POLICIES AND CLEANING UP THE GOD DAMN POLLUTION. BA DUM CHH. I think eating dog is the least of their worries. Do you plan on watching the Olymipics? Do they still do the Olympics naked? That may have a great effect on how I answer the question. What is your favorite Olympic event? ICE DANCING. The answer will always be ICE DANCING.
Let's go into the "archives" in "Washington D.C." and find out how people "masturbated" in the "roaring 20's." Crao Porr Cock8. Bitch.
Ok now that is truely funny. I know its a little off of all the topics that have been discussed but with the 10th anversiry of Xenogears coming up, I was just curious as to who has played it? What your thoughts where on it? and if anyone has heard rumors of a remake?
Soldier: "We suck but we're better then you" We will fight, we will be strong Together we're marching on United, we move as one Our finest hour has just begun Philmore - Our Finest Hour Crao Porr Cock8! Need I say more!? My awards:
I have a Nissan Maxima, so my gas mileage is good enough. I find myself being more conservative as to where I drive and how often. You have to drive about twenty minutes north to get to anything in my town, so me and my associates collaborate and carpool more often than ever before. As to Xenogears, I haven't played it, but I always wanted it. Same with Vagrant Story and a few other Squaresoft titles. As to the Olympics, I am not really interested at all. I would like to see our country do well, but I probably won't watch. But, as an American, I am super excited about the upcoming NCAA/NFL season. My team (the Dolphins) just traded Jason Taylor, my favorite player, so I have to grieve.
Hey! Read my movie blog! http://centralfloridafilmcritic.blogspot.com

I wonder if they'll actually go 0-16 this year. They've been teasing for so long, I just want it to happen. The Packers really aren't in a better position though. Favre is crying like a 13 year old girl who doesn't have a date to the middle school dance. If we keep him, he'll get injured (see: Madden Curse, Old Guy syndrome), and if we get rid of him, the fans that still hump his leg will turn on Aaron Rodgers, and at the first mistake will make effigies and pray for his death and whatnot. I don't know. **** Favre. We told him that when he retired, we're moving on, and have made adjustments to prepare for Rodgers. Then Favre comes back and expects us to accommodate his every whim. At least the Brewers are good.
Yeah I find it kind of funny that I was just ranting about gas and I traded in my p.o.s. G6 for a 06 mustang and a 08 kia sorento. both with estimated gas milages of around 18mpg haha, I'm stupid. Oh well it's a good thing I only drive atmost 20 miles a day. But as for football I realy need to catch up on Dallas I haven't kept up with them in the post/pre season. I honest hope they do better then last year.
Hey guys names Andrew and i was wondering if i could join TFF of America. Im from Sparta,North Carolina and its basicly a town no one have ever heard of. Anywho I really cant say much for my town except no one ever comes heer. Since all you need to join is to live in the USA then i think i meet the requirments so what do you say. God Bless America.
Since Wrey hasn't touched on this, I am sure he will let me be the first to greet you into the club seeing I am "Assistant to the Regional Manager" haha. You will have to wait to see your name added to the memebers list, since hes the only one with access to that. Feel free to back track and awnser so of the previous questions over the last page or so, if you feel like it.
Of course you can join! And yes, Meier Link can let people in. Anyone who wants to can just start posting, and I will catch up the list as I go along. Its not like we have a terribly strict guideline or anything. North Carolina. Man, how is that? I almost went to Jacksonville a few weeks ago and heard there was nothing to do there and it was miserable hot.
Welcome to the club, Hunk. I've never been to any of the states on the other side of the country. The only states I've ever visited was Nevada and Arizona. My family and I were going to Laughlin in Nevada about four of five years ago and it's about a five hour drive from where we live. Plus another half an hour depending if you decide to stop at the truck stops and go on the highway down there. We went in the summer to check -- I mean they went to check out the casinos. >< Since I'm not 21, I couldn't do much but look at the view and eat at the buffets. We did bring the boat though and we went to the river which was awesome. I got drive it too! My cousin pissed me off though. I wanted to drive like crazy and crash it but it would've been a stupid move on my part. The weather out there in the summer is ridiculous. It's like the minute you walk out, you already start to sweat with any little movement you do. And at night, it's still hot but warm. I hope one day to check out the rest of the country: New York, Florida, Oregon, and a few other places.
I've been in...Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Indiana and Texas. Really, there's not a dramatic immediate difference notable in any of them, with the exception of Texas, Georgia and Florida. The coast and gulf are always a pleasure to see. Surfing is nice, if a little impossible, conditions permitting on the east coast. Food seems to get better the further south you go in America. Has anyone noticed this? Restaurants seem to have more inventive and delicious dishes in the south. Other than that, nothing much to tell. -Sin
Fear not, this is not...the end of this world. "I'm just a soul whose intentions are good..."

That might be true for everything except pizza. The stereotype is true - NYC has the best pizza. I really miss it. Also, Southern food may taste good, but it is guaranteed to kill you. Where have you been?
Haha seeing I am from a central southern state I know exactly what you mean. Alot of the cooking down here is more of the down home style, and is very good. Kansas City has some awsome BBQ along with Texas. Also I don't think anyone can really touch Louisana's cajun food it is supurb. Here in oklahoma the best thing I can think of to eat it Taco Beuano haha (obviously mexican) for fast food it is amazing, I can prolly eat it every day, their salsa will blo0w your mind. If you ever see one you have to try it out.
Seeing as Wisconsin is a large German community. We love sausage. There's nothing like a hot sausage (especially bratwurst) on the grill, tailgating outside of your favorite stadium. Don't take that out of context. Seriously, I have nothing for you to blackmail me with. Also beer. Lots of beer.
beer + bratwurst = greatness bratwurst soaked with beer for 20 minutes then grilled = perfection! sorry you hit the spot when you brought up those 2 haha. Since we are on the subject of food, who here has tried beer butt chicken (aka beer can chicken)? (seriously) For those who are confused or just don't know, Its where you poke holes in the top of a tall boy and sit the open end of the chicken down and ontop of the can and let it slow cook in a grill for a couple hours.
I cooked some not two weeks ago. It was moist tender and delicious, as always. Another artful and intuitive southern recipe. Almost makes up for all the hicks. lol But the best recipes in my possession are, Spare ribs in sauce, Minestrone, Chicken Livers ala Nero, Blueberry Grunt, Salad with Devil's Rain dressing, French Onion soup, General Tso's Chicken, Orange Pork Tenderloin, Breaded Morels, Sweetbreads Amandine, Fiery Dill Pickles, Brandon's Brownies, and .........the greatest concoction of all...the Carrot Cake. -Sin
And people say Americans have no food of their own. Bah! I have been into buffalo wings recently. I never liked sauce, but now I cannot get enough. And Meier, your concoction sounds interesting. I have never liked beer, though. That gives me a topic idea: when it comes to alcohol, do you drink domestic or imported? I have been on an American binge lately, between Southern Comfort and Everclear. Most of my favorite drinks are imported, though.
When it comes to beer I tend to lean twards either domestic or german, mainly domestic though. As for the harder stuff I perfer imported. Such as Jager, Vodka, sakee, cuvee, and other good stuff like that.
Now, understand that I don't purposefully choose domestic or imported but... I like Jagermeister,Goldschlager,Kirschwasser,Rumplemintz,Absinthe,Lambic(Ale made from natural Belgian yeasts),Bourbon,Dark sipping Rum,Whiskey,Brandy,Any type of Red desert wine such as Lambrusco,White Wine such as Pinot Blanc or Pinot GrigioSparkling White Wine and some Champagne such as Dom Pérignonand the occasional Vodka Tonic. I don't like beer, unless it's ale and I don't like ale unless it's Lambic. I HATE Gin(it makes me sick). I'm not good with Tequila(bad experiences). And Vodka is nothing more than a careless attempt at getting drunk. So as you can see by my list, I actually import most of my drink. -Sin

"America! **** YEAH!" -quoted from "Team America: World Police" I'm not really sure how I like my alcohol yet, since I've only tasted a large amount of types and haven't really been able to drink any real beer lately. American food is the best food! We invented the hot dog, and we stole Mexican food, and created Taco Bell! Hellz yeah! The states that I've been in are: Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. I've been in the Atlanta Airport in Georgia, as well. Can I's be in the club?
Americans are pretty out numbered in every forum i have ever been on i wonder why.... LEMME JOIN GUYS!

Lilium, despite having Elliot Smith in your avatar, you are in. As are you, Changrules. Stay active! As we leave the summer and look to the fall and winter, what will it be like where everyone lives? Will you be pouring water over your windshield to get the ice off, or will you still be able to go to the beach and wear flip flops? I am the latter. I went to the beach on New Years day this year, and I imagine I will be able to do so again. It gets in the 50's on some days, but overall it will stay in a nice 70ish range. After a July in Florida, this sounds very nice.

After a July in Florida, this sounds very nice. So I guess you're not really into the type of music Elliott does? Well, I live in Virginia, where we have the mild, in-between weather. It's chilly during Fall, and Winter is cold, but the only snow we get is every now and then, during January through early March, and it's not even that much. I like the mild weather, but I wish that it would either be warmer like Texas, or have more snow, like in Pennsylvania. I guess I like the extremes better (more preferably Deep South weather, I think). Do we have anybody here that hails from the Deep South (Alabama, Texas, etc.), or anyone that has spent time there or lived there for a while like I have?
As for alcohol, we have some nice breweries around here, like Leinenkugel's and the ever popular Schlitz. Then again, I like my Rum from the Caribbean, and my tequila from Mexico, so I'll say a little of each. By the end of October I'll say, Wisconsin will be covered in snow. Of course, that's just a guess, but hell, it can't be far from the truth.
I don't know about us having the BEST food. I believe Switzerland has the best food, from what I hear. But anyways, I really love Chicago food. I can't think of one food that sucks there. Some Chicago restaurants don't last in the west coast, for some reason, such as White Castle. They had pretty good burgers back when I lived in Illinois. As for alcohol, Bailey's Irish cream is pretty good. I hate any form of beer, but things like dacuries or Smirnoff hits the right for me.
Hello everyone glad to hear im excepted into TFFA. I have to be honest and say im only 14 so i dont really have much an opinion on alcohol except it smells funny and my state would never survive without it. I also think its true that the farther south you go the better foods start to taste,in fact there was a BBQ competition in a town not far from me. BBQ is more than food here its a way of life. I think that hammburgers are the most American food. I mean we have Burger King,Wendys,Mcdonalds and the list just gose on and on. Of course ive been to more places than NC ive also lived in Floriada(sry on spelling),Ohio,Born in Alaska,Winsconcin and Virginia so i guess i could say ive never been to places like Arizona,California and places in that general direction.

Well, I'm guessing by the end of Sept is when it will start chilling up, but its all good, just brings out the good times of going to the High School Football games on friday nights, so I don't mind too much to watch my little brother play wide receiver as I'm covered in my jacket under a blanket with my friends and family. As soon as thats all over, which is mid-late October, which will be like really cold and windy with no break in sight. Then we get to my favorite month, which is November, where I get to celebrate my birthday of two decades this year, which shortly after follows thanksgiving, which is a fun time. By then, I just have to endure until Winter Break, where (hopefully) my parents, bro and I will all be in Key West by then. Then we will get back right before new years and I will enjoy my hangover by getting my wisdom teeth pulled the day after! ... But yeah thats my RL schedule until '09 it seems, give or take a few events, idk.

I dont really plan anything. Im alittle more go with the flow. My favorite month(naturally) is september. I just like september beacuse its my B-day September 24th. Im glad that it starts to cool around football time beacuse im in marching band and if its really hot then i almost melt in my uniform. Idk how football players can stand that heat.
As of now, the weather is still hot. And it seems like the weather has been like this for forever now. Unfortunately, it doesn't snow out here where I live in the winter. If I wanted to go see some snow, I would have to drive up to the mountains which is at least two hours, plus depending on traffic on the freeways if I wanted to see some. I've always wanted to stay in an environment that has snow. And it doesn't rain out here as much. It usually does during the spring it seems. But the weather does cool down during the fall and winter though.
I live about an hour from Dimi, and up here it's pretty nice. The air isn't polluted and we usually have clear skies. The heat can get quite nasty, but not as bad as it can in Nevada. We get lots of wind, so it's pretty nice. Other than that, Apple Valley has a ton of dirt, Joshua trees, cactus', and tumbleweeds. Very boring, I must say. It's snowed here three times during my life here.. which is surprising considering how dry we are. If you want lots of snow, our mountains(called Big Bear) have it during the winter.
