Re: On Your Own
I guess the only thing I've ever done without ANY friends or family while away from home would have been going to a science camp thing when I was about eleven. I got on a bus and stayed in a cabin of seven other girls I didn't know for four days and three nights. It wasn't that bad. Extremely cold maybe, since it was in the middle of winter and we were up in the mountains just below where there was snow, but that's it. I got to dissect an owl pellet and eat a raw acorn. Nothing exciting at all.
There was another time I got to experience no-parent time, but it was at home. Does that count? I was home alone for five days and had a ball on my own. Again, nothing really happened. Mommy left for a trip thing and I stayed at home to go to school and do homework. I didn't feel all that lonely during the day...just at night when my house would make creepy noises. ._. Goddamn ice maker.
