Your First Day as a member of TFF

When I first joined, I was a proper n00b, haha. I posted in the FFX section about 50 times on my first day, lol. I remember the first thread I made was summin' to do with The Spring scene from FFX. I was so excited when I made it! xD

I think i one of the threads I posted in, I typed up a sentence that went summin' like this "u only lik them coz of there stats, y dont u lik em 4 there prsnlities?". When I read it, I felt really embarrassed xD Ah well, I guess a lot of the members here used to be n00bs too ;]

I think the first person I added to my buddy list was either Xeim or Froggie. I've never added anyone to my ignore list, though...

Um...I don't know how I wandered here. I kinda stuck because I have some really good friends here. I think I used to browse the ID a lot, FFVII, FFX, FFX-2, Clubs, Journals and GC. Now just kind of...GC, Journals and Art.

It's weird that my first day was only some days ago but I don't remeber my first post (the introduction doesn't count). My first thread was the Dead Fantasy one I think. And though I don't remember when it was exactly I'm sure it was quite a nice forum day since I haven't had any bad ones here.

'Twas Christmas Eve, 2001. That's like, over 6 years now. Whoa. I remember being a total n00b. I rarely posted in general chat, posted a stupid amount in the actuall Final Fantasy forums in which I relied to topics which people just posted again and again. I also joined a bunch of clubs for the sake of it, and almost got in trouble fro trying to start a 'Pluto Knights' club without registering it first, haha.

FFShrine, where I was before, didn't require club registration. At the time, I thought TFF's club system was just silly.

My first post I think was somewhere in ID. I don't remember anymore, but it was around a year ago. Then I joined the Fighter's Guild.

I think I came looking for info on VS XIII and VII for the PS3.

Aside from the word games, I think I posted mostly in the ID anyway... lol.

I was an old '02 kid. Back when I was 13, I found this site when it used to have it's very own irc chatroom, and I used to spam a lot and be silly in there for several months. After the main kid I talked to disappeared without a trace, I saw the forums in here and decided to register. I saw a lot of people with a lot of posts like Mike, OmegaGear, Andro, Akira, Spekkio, Psychosyd, Tony_Leone, Soma, Steaml1ned, etc. and I thought they were all really cool. I posted here and there over the course of 3 years, but I was pretty much a randy johnson (random kid) that no one knew about nor cared for. Oh and yeah I talked to Danni_Girl a lot, we were tff family back in the day, yeahhhh.

Sometime around in '05, I stopped visiting tff completely. This was probably because I got bored and I was busy playing halo or something, lol. Then I decided I should take a visit back back in '08 only to find out my account got deleted! Oh noes!! Luckily Cesar was on at the time, and he got everything back to date, which was really cool and I admit I've never seen an admin do anything like that on a forum before, and I didn't really know Loco all that well besides knowing OF him, so kudos to him for that.

Nowadays, people have gotten a chance to see how spectacular I am and everyone wants to be my friend, lol. I'll be around for awhile I guess, we'll see how things go.

(Oh, and somehow I've never received an offical warning throughout my entire tff career until a few days ago! It was a pretty big milestone in my eyes so send me a round of applause please!)

OK seriously though, I remember my first few posts on here were nothing special, I did the typical "hey I like final fantasy intro" that I have seen 1000 times over since joining, then I remember my first two posts outside of my intro very well, just not sure what they where about though. I just remember them because afterwards I received my first warning for double posting with in 15 minutes of joining, yeah I was an idiot. Sad thing is I was and still am a member of multiple forums haha; guess I should of payed more attention to the edit button.

I remember shortly after making 2 seperate threads one in GC and one in general final fantasy. This one in GC was called "paintball" (I know creative right??) and the second one in GFF was "what game origionally drew you to final fantasy" or something along those lines.

Shortly after joining here this thread was made, but I decided the time was not right for me to post in it. I guess by fluke now is.

I remember playing around acting like a noob and running all of my sentences together and not using capitalizion and ending everthing with a period. It was alot of fun. I went thorugh the forum posting everywhere and then I got sucked into the void that is WG/H which I still reside in somewhat to this day.

As for first friends I am not to sure on that one, Fishie and Silver stick out quit vividly along side a few others.

So yeah thats my story and I am sticking to it.

I joined TFF when I was in my second year of middle school, which was four years ago. I stumbled into this forum when I was looking for Final Fantasy sprites I could work with. At the time, I was into pixel spriting for video games that Kaitou, who is also a TFF member, created. I'm not sure what motivated me to join, but I believe the reason is that TFF was the only website I could access within AOL's extreme restrictions.

When I finally registered, I did not know where to start nor know how to function as a normal forum member. I was a real newb, haha. The names I used are as follows: R4gN@r0k_Ch40s, Asuka, Suzu Kitamura, Balmung, and finally Azuteor, which I can safely say I own.

I was also new to role playing. The first person I have ever role played with in this forum was Samurai Kenji. Fortunately, he was kind enough to show me around and introduce me to rping.

Most of the people I communicated with in TFF are club members and the people I invited here. I brought Blackrose and she joined the BoD. She somehow got kicked out, resulting in the creation of God's Sanctuary. Blackrose was the leader at first until she handed the position to me when she disappeared. T.G.O, Kaitou, and Omnitense (Sinister) came along and we got far enough to make Seekers of Illumination.

A lot of things happened over the years. I got the hang of being a TFFer and hopefully, I'm not as noobish.

I don't talk much nowadays.

I was bored, and I was looking for something or other for my Final Fantasy game. And this site came up. I was curious, so I joined.

After 5 mins of me joining, I thought wtf? because I'd never seen such a large forum before - I was quite new to any forum I joined back then. I freaked out and left at the final straw when I saw something in someones sig going on about bombing Iraq.

I didn't come back on for a while. A week or two I think before making my first post which I'm sure was totally n00bish. I endded up with like... 4 warnings in a matter of a few months, hence my old nick-name "The Warning Collecter" which someone came up with in the Humor threads. I think my first friends were loner-kid, Meier and Halie, though I'm sure loner-kid was the first person I added as one.

I remember spamming out in the Humor forums loads, and totally forgetting about the Final Fantasy ones.

Been just over a month now since I joined... And well... My first day. What can I say? I was hooked on TFF from the first greeting I received. I got so many warm welcomes so fast - and that makes alot of difference to if you want to stick around or not. Your opening noob thread is crucial. It's your first post... first thread... and yeah you do want posts in it ^~. And wow did I get them!
To this very day I am honoured by the overwhelming welcome I have received and am so happy to be here.
Gosh I was nervous though. I've been on forums before and I realise how hard it is sometimes to get accepted into the swing of things. But here it almost seemed like I'd posted here from the beginning of time ~^.

When I got better at Rping though I started to enjoy the forum alot more. Plus my grammer and spelling has goten better during my time of the TFF.(Mainly due to watching posts by T.G.Oskar and Meier.Total respect guys)

hey does anybody know somewhere where i could get final fantasy 7,8,9 for computer because im positive they made computer versions but i dont see them in store and i wondered if there was a website like steam where you could buy them because i wouldnt mind putting down a few bucks for them or if they are putting them on playstation store cuz i know they just put final fantasy 7 but i want the other ones can anybody help please

www.amazon.com Be prepared to spend a lot of money seeing as they are pretty old and out of print. You could also search google. Also Final Fantasy IX was not made for the computer, only the Playstation. Next time, try to post in the correct forum/thread, not just in a random one...

I like how some people are posting here and they have only been a member for less than a month.

Anyway, I remember when I first joined. I joined a little over three years now. My username has always been Squall333, mainly because I've been too lazy to change it over the years. I think I joined several months after I came across the site. I was such a newb back then. (I hope that I've finally grown out of that.) I did some searching through my old posts and a lot of them are pretty funny. I ended the majority of my posts with "," used many exclamation points, and would randomly type two question marks when I asked a question. Thankfully my grammar wasn't that bad at least. Also just about all of my posts were very short. The average was probably only a line or two. Initially I posted in random Final Fantasy threads, but soon enough, I started to post in the trivia threads, mainly the Final Fantasy VIII trivia thread. I'm sure over half of my posts are in trivia threads. I do remember my first thread as well, seeing as I've only posted ten threads in the entire time I've been here. It was pretty bad, so I will not talk about it. Finally I did leaver TFF for six or seven months after I joined, but since then I have been pretty consistent with coming on and come on just about everyday, even if I don't post very much anymore.

Isn't there another thread like this. I remember posting this all before...

Mine was waaaaaay back in the day (9 years now, wtf?). I was really young and remember visiting TFF in its original days, then it went down for a while. I kept checking to see if it'd ever come back up because the site was awesome, and one day it did. I ended up getting in contact with Fuzz and writing news posts for the site for a while. I guess I quit or something, I don't really remember what happened.

Eventually I worked my way up and became a mod of a number of forums, and then I was an admin for a while.

I guess I was most known for posting a lot. The truth is I was young and knew to the whole idea of message boards, and there was some really interesting topics and conversations that kept me coming back. I enjoyed owning stupid people in threads and expressing my own opinion. I was probably known best for expressing my point of views in the shortest way possible. Back then people were into writing posts that were pages and pages long, it seemed to make you cool. I saw them all as a bunch of filler crap and waste of time, so I posted short and to the point posts.

My first day was on May 9th [=...I remember it well seeing as its only been exactly a month... I was afraid that people wouldn't really like me that much (This is my first forum XD)... I wasn't sure what to expect...
