What strange food or flavour combination's do you like?

For example do you like strange toppings on your pizza or do you mix flavours that normally wouldn't go together.

I used to mix my spreads a s a kid I mixed peanut butter and honey a choc spread with a raspberry jam and heaps more. Other than that I eat pretty normally.

^ I do peanut butter and honey sandwiches sometimes. It's good. I don't use jelly and chocolate though when I do it. I'm not a fan of things that are overly sweet, and I think that would just be too much sugar for me. I had a boyfriend who had a sister that would put gummi worms in her PB & J though... I thought that was weird...but to each their own.

I dip potato chips in ketchup when I actually eat potato chips. Not a huge fan of them, so I don't do it often. I also dip Nacho Cheese Doritos in ranch dressing.

EDIT:: Mashed potato sandwiches. Mashed potatoes slathered in-between two slices of white bread. Yeah, it's full of carbs, but it's delicious.

I think that's all that's worth mentioning.

I also love grated parmesean cheese on popcorn. It tastes delicious, although to anyone NOT eating the popcorn it smells like stinky feet.

I knew someone who used to shove fries into her hamburgers at Wendy's. Oh, and she'd make Fish Stick sandwiches. Those were weird to me.

I like to take a bite from my double classic from Wendy's and a spoonful of my chocolate frosty. I also like to mix my choc. frosty and fries as well.

Sometimes I get pepperoni, onion, and green pepper on my pizza.

For sandwiches I put salami, capicola, prosciutto, pastrami, or pepperoni with mozzeralla, deli mustard (i.e., spicy mustard), lettuce, and bacon (flimsy and fatty) - Mmmm yummy.

I've been thinking about wrapping bacon around pierogies or using an orange zest while sauteeing the onions and green peppers for my pierogies as well. I've also thought of trying to make a potato salad with pierogies replacing the potato portions.


As a special note, my friend mixes chili, cake, ice cream, and puts a lot of cheese and then some more cheese all in a bowl then mixes it all together.

When I eat my cheese burgers I splash a little bit of Otrega Taco Sauce. It gives it a nice little flavor.

I have also developed a taste for BBQ Chicken Pizza. At first it seemed very strange to me. But after trying it, I fell in love.

I have a friend who used to eat melted cheese by itself. He'd eat it in a bowl with a fork. Why not a spoon, I'm not sure. Then again, this person likes Pepsi Blue, so he's obviously not all there.

As for me, I like to make lazy man's pasta. I make Kraft Dinner (aka Kraft Macaroni and Cheese) and then just dump Ragu spaghetti sauce on top of it (the heat of the Kraft Dinner is enough to compensate for the fact that I don't heat up the sauce), add some basil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and some chipotle chili powder, mix it all together and top it off with Parmesan. It sounds horrible, but it's good enough for those "I don't feel like cooking" days, which make up a very large percentage of my days.

I have been holding off on this thread because I couldn't figure out what I eat that is weird. The only thing I could come up with that was abnormal, was taking a honey Bun, putting it in a bowl with a little water and butter, then nuking it for 30 seconds. It's pretty damn good

Figs and Brie Cheese aren't such a wierd combonation, at least I don't think it is.

I myself like to eat Philladelphia Cream cheese and jam sandwich (or jelly, as they like to say in america) as well as a a fried egg and jam sandwich. And sometimes, I like to eat a sandwich of just mayonaise, ketchup (has to be Hienz ketchup) and some kind of spicy sauce.

Well, some of the native specialties could been seen as strange mixture of various ingredients but besides that I love to put mayo and tuna on almost anything.

The weirdest combination I've come up with is pasta with lot's of tuna, vegetables such as paprika (both reed and green), reed beans, string beans (salad way), a little bit of corn, everything mixed with lots of vegeta to spice things even more and of course my irreplaceable ingredient mayo. Weird combination but it tastes pretty good, one of my favorite meals.

it wasnt intended to be a wierd combination lol. lots of people eat it, a resteraunt i go to alot serves a chesse plater that includes brie, bleu, and an aged gorgonzola. also has a jam spread made from figs. everytime i go there i always order it.
