I believe the fastest way would be writing long posts, but you shouldn't just post irrelevant stuff just to get some Gil.

What do you really need so much gil for? I'm asking.

do you need inventory items that bad? I mean it's nice to have gil to give gifts, but I don't understand why some people want so much of it.

Are you going to buy everyone gifts? I hope so

I looked it up on the site, and it says that you do get gil for becoming a champion in the Arcade section. Not too sure just achieving high scores. I think you have to achieve the highest score in a game.

Like Ragnatoad said, probably the best way is to put lots of (good) content into your posts, but apparently submitting stuff to the site seems to be a pretty good way as well.

- Walkthroughs - 500 Gil
- Review (under 500 words) - 250 Gil
- Review (over 1000 words) - 500 Gil
- Fan Artwork - 200 Gil Each
- Media Files (MIDI, etc) - 100 Gil
- Game Content - 150 Gil
- Fan Fiction - 200 Gil

The fastest way to earn gil in the long run at TFF is through the banking system. Of course you still have to have the minimum deposit to actually acrue the interest rate but still then you get a daily percentage even if you don't make a post that day.

Down fall is you have to wait 30 days for the interest to acrue but you will instantly see the benifit after those 30 days. It is a given though that this system is for posters that are here for the long haul and shouldn't be touched by the weekend warrior or the 3 week short term members.

Now if you are not into the banking system then yes posting would be the fastest way in the shortest period of time to gain money but then again shorts posts to gain Gil is frowned apon here.

The things Dodie posted, I am not sure if they are still completely in affect but if they are they are nice for the extremely short stent.
