I was going to add least favorite, but that would have undoubtedly gone bad.
My favorites have to be the Japanese culture, and the Ancient Greek Culture.
Japanese culture because, I don't know, America has no culture, so seeing how deep their past is, beautiful places, and pretty women got me in.
The Ancient Greek culture because I love their mythology, it is just awesome.
Plus, if war was anything like the Samurai or ancient greek wars, I would definitely be in.

Forgive me, I should have explained.
Our culture is not identifiable to be clean, as most of our cultures are not looked upon as good. And since we go by freedom, most of our culture is really others culture. Unlike as where as Japan, from what I know, there isn't 4-8 cultures in it. All their cultures, if different, meld with each other and stem from their histories.
Our cultures usually derive from music, and the hip-hop culture, isn't really a good one to follow.

PS My answer:
*halfchough*
But anyway yeah. I can only go off of the culture I'm most familiar with. I don't know enough about other cultures to have any other opinion. There are traits from other cultures I've heard of from people who have lived in different areas for long periods of time, but it's not until a person is absorbed in that culture that they can form a solid opinion. Er at least I think so anyway..I don't even.

I'm just asking what is your favorite culture.
Wether it is their music, social emotion, dance, food...
Basically way of living...

For some reason I looked at the last two odin quotes really quickly and I saw "women" "deep" "post", so we all know where my mind is atm.
I like America's culture, since it's like a global village and mixture of all kinds of cultures into one big epic god-tier culture of sorts.
And to be honest, Japanese culture doesn't sound that appealing; the current generation of Japanese people are very repressed and have a main focus on career advancement over anything... doesn't sound too appealing to me, though I see the respects in that. Plus, most of the current/older generation is very xenophobic, so outsiders are treated with a deep seated hostility. I don't see that very inviting.

So you want me to homogenise the billions of people in the world into discrete categories and then rank them and justify my decisions?
Hell. Let's go with Americans as my favourite culture. Which ones? The indigenous or the non-indigenous? The black, the white, the Asian, the Latino, the Polynesian, the Melanesian, the Arab or the Scandinavian? The workers or the capitalists? The jazz musicians or the radical feminists? The obese or the bulimic?
I'm curious, have you been to Japan?
Not being rude, but I have different look on that, other than the fact that some american gestures are looked as rude in Japan, so they stare, not all, but that is what I have read, numerous times.
I haven't heard anything of them being hostile.
Sorry, didn't mean to be rude with this post.
My opinion is, while America has numerous Cultures, none of them equal the respective origins of the culture.
Most japanese food in america isn't japanese food haha. Or at least that's what one of my friends who lives there said.

I have not personally but I have talked to people who have been to Japan and I have asian friends that understand the culture better than the average person, so I do have enough knowledge to make an informed decision on a Japan's culture. But its not all anime and mangos over there by any means.
and no offense taken.

Yes, I have been talking with my friend and he told me little things that I probably would do, as in listening to an MP3 player on a bus or talking on a cellphone on a bus, was considered rude.
He did say however, that the people there are really interested in foreigners, not because we are "interesting," but we act funny LOL!!!

No, Odin, my point is that there is no such thing as this object of "culture". To you, an American, American culture is incredibly nuanced. There are so many ins and outs, you cannot identify a commonality that neatly summarises your cultural identity. Attempts at it may include "liberty" and "individualism", just as a Kiwi identity may be "cultural diversity" and "environmentalism". But those are merely attempts.
You may be interested in Japan. That's all well and good, but honestly there is so much going on there -- every single person of Japan's millions is unique -- that to say you like "their culture" is to make a gross simplification.
There is no culture, anywhere. (Well, not in the sense it is being used here.)

I've found a few definitions of the word "Culture" here. I hope this sheds some light on some trash talking or at the very least some upset emoticons.

I like their music, I like their history, and I like their mannerisms, no matter what they are. And yes, I know everybody there is different, but there is usually some type of social medium that binds them together.

My favorite culture is the Italians, because they have the spaghetti and the pizza and the Pope and I think maybe they made some important advances in government and civilization in general once upon a time. Also, there are some kickass movies about them.
The US gave us Cowboys and rock 'n roll! Or did God? Hm... Anyhoo...
Wuv, Yer Mom
New York Culture i'll say, keep it down out there or ill keep it down for you!

And your accent is weird.

Who do you think is keeping those damn candians out of here. We let them come to detroit so they can watch the red wings soul own all their beloved canadian teams, and sometimes their accent gets picked up by us.
Plus Tim Hortons is REALLY good.
