What were you in HS?

What were you classified in high school as? Like Prep, punker, scene, skater, bro ect..

I guess I'm pretty diverse when it comes to friends, but I was mainly the in the white, skater scene peoples group lol not the stupid scene looki'n kids but more like skater preps and most of the guys had pretty long hair

Our HS had every social group there is and then some haha we had an extra one called the "Hill/mutant" kids...kinda sad, but they were friggin weird even to this day lol.

My HS had a uniform, so there weren't many different categories as you couldn't be judged by what you wore. You had the computer geeks, the Athletes and the Smokers/Stoners.

I was in the Smokers/Stoners group. It was all the kids who hung out on the specially painted area in the courtyard where you were allowed to smoke.

well this is quite a flashback. i went to a private school and had to wear uniforms and such. kinda sucked but atleast you knew what to wear for the day. anyway, i guess you could say i was a mix between the art kids and the athletes. i spent every spare time at school working on art projects and such; but on the other hand i also did swimming, track and x-country. i hung out with just about every clique except for the really preppy-ish group. they were just rude.

I played varsity soccer my freshman year so I could hang out with the jocks but they were kinda dumb. I dated one of the popular chicks and could hang out with the preps too, but same thing. I usually hung out with the drama kids because they were a lot more interesting.

I played varsity football, and baseball all through out HS. My high school wasn't a big high school, we didn't label people as much. All the jocks were very intelligent, and most were also nerdy. The skater's were jocks, and played many sports.

I guess if I had to label myself I am all of the above...

I wasn't anything. No one made a classification for me, or if they did, they didn't tell me. I never spoke to anyone for the short while I was there. Had no friends to classify me. *shrugs*

I kind of did my own thing really. I didn't really hang out with just one group of people. There was a bunch of different "cliques", but I never felt a part of any of them. I kind of was the person who would be friendly to people, but they never really got to know me because I kept them at a distance, and I preferred it like that. I suppose that would be classified as a "loner", but I don't think I was that. I was just happy doing my thing, and not following a crowd.

Oh god...a lot of people hated our little group in high school. The Emo/Punk/Hardcore kids. Mainly caused we loved to make fun of the Preppy kids cause all they talked about was how much their life sucks cause they can't go to some lame as party where they'll get drunk to the point of no remembering, which..is pointless. Anyways. I was a pretty well known Emo Punk. I'm still the same to this day and people still remember me the same way. Pretty cool when you're reputation as one of the Emo punks sticks onto you even after school.

I was a little bit of a goth/rock chick that did her own thing apparently. I started off as a bit of a loner because I didn't know how to make friends properly, so I spent a lot of time in the library helping the librarians and reading books. Seriously, if any of my records in the library are still there, you'll see I must have taken out between thirty to forty different books in the first four months of school.

I don't think I changed much, if I'm honest, even though I hung out with about four different groups of people in the five years I was there. I was a more toned down version of a rock chick, and remained that way until I finished school.

Now it's worn off a lot, and I'm considered a 'normal' person with a random streak.

Being classified sucked because people didn't want to hang out with you nor talk to you - It took me three years to find someone at school who was just like me, and didn't care about all of that stuff. The only time that should ever work is when you have all the other groups vs. chavs.

I made fun of preps or snobs too. Their meaning of the term "My life sucks," really had no meaning, seeing as they were the ones getting top grades, had the best hopes for the future, and had mummy's and daddy's with money to provide them with alcohol and bail money. -__-;

My freshman year I was big into band and choir. Though I didn't have any plans to major in any of that stuff, I figured I would stick with it and get a big scholarship for college out of it. I met a lot of older friends through it, but they didn't take it near as serious as I did (neither did my teachers for that matter; they weren't nearly as good as my other directors I've had in the past -_-), so I didn't focus on it as much. It wasn't all bad though, because it allowed me to focus on other things.

Sophomore year was the year I thought I'd be a jock or something lol. I was highly competitive into everything we did during PE, and the spring before I thought I was king shit because of being on varsity soccer during my frosh year, so I thought I'd hang out with all of the guys. Turns out that the majority of them were kinda pissy moany a lot, so I never got to be great friends with a lot of them, save a few.

Junior year I was more of a class clown than anything lol. I just messed around a lot and got people to laugh. I was still in band/choir/soccer and stuff and took it semi-seriously, but I'd have all kinds of people that I knew from class that would come cheer me on during whatever I was in at that time. Near the end of my junior year I was more into a prep phase because I had a really preppy gf that I went to Prom with, and when they found out that she was my date everyone was like O_O. (myself included, we kept it hush hush lol.)

Senior year was the "me" year. I just stopped caring about trying to fit in and talked to everyone that wasn't a complete doucher. Like besides doing the required homework to not fail out, I literally didn't care about anything in school, including all of the stuff I was in. I almost didn't even go to Prom that year because I didn't give a shit, but I decided I would go like two days before it happened with some girl. (she was sophomore and got dumped by her senior bf the week before Prom, so she had a dress and everything but couldn't go since she wasnt a jr/sr.) I just did whatever I pleased, and a lot of people respected me because of it, so w/e *shrugs*

This one day at lunch, this Cops daughter sat at our table lol, the emo kid table. And she bought all her friends with her. So She kept talking shit about us cause we apparently dye our hair fake colors and cut our bodies. My friend said " I would punch you in the face but you're dad's a cop, he might arrest me mom and **** her in the back seat" which is a favorite among cops around here. People who had relatives in the force in our HS where treated with so much pampering...annoying the hell out of us.

Believe it or not i never went to high school.

Long story short....i got kicked out of middle school all three years and was barred from going to any school in my county so i went to a G.E.D. program when i was 15 took the test when i was sixteen passed and went to college that same year.

That was a wonderful opportunity that i ****ed up. I goofed off while i was there and then me and my father got into it so i went to live with my mother and i did not go back to college until i was eighteen. All those older women.....

This is my group. I don't try and fit in with the emo/punk/snob groups and I wouldn't want to be part of it. I have a few friends and we all hang out together. Basically we are people who don't fit in any of the groups. And I'm perfectly happy with that!

Nah, that's just my profession..my hobby. Personality wise and trend wise, I didn't look artsy at all. I was just a regular person, but at the same time, I was quirky enough to not be one of those "normal peeps".

I went to a private school and we had a really strict uniform policy so you couldn't judge anyone on how they dressed, their hair or jewelry. That said I was in the middle. With a large group of people. There were the snobby people at the top who thought they were better than everyone else, the ones in the middle, and the weird ones that no one wanted to talk to except for eachother at the bottom.

I liked where I was and I made a lot of friends that way. But labelling those people was kind of wrong because I met some really nice people both ways. It just goes to show that you could miss out on making some amazing friends for some trivial reason like that.

I also went to an all girls school. So it was really bitchy. But every group helped spread stuff around.

I won the Most Dramatic superlative my senior year, out of a class of over 400. I was a theatre kid. I didn't have tons of friends or anything, but people knew who I was. I hung out with theatre kids I didn't find too needy and a pretty laid back crowd of just... people. I don't know what you would call them as a whole. We had fun. They were mostly all intelligent, driven, in AP classes, socially adept, well-informed... I fit in with them just fine.

I was always myself. People always liked me because I went against the grain and just didn't give a ****. I got along with pretty much everyone, since I didn't start shit, but I was never afraid to back myself up. I got progressively more outspoken and I guess fit into my own skin as the years went on, and most people knew me by name. I'd also involve myself in shenanigans, like throwing footballs in the hallways or arguing with teachers over stupid shit.

At the same time, I was also pretty smart, being in the honors classes, and y'know getting my work done and all of that. I also got cut from the baseball team because the coach didn't like that I would always violate the uniform policy, so I was in pretty good with most of the athletes, despite not being on the team.

Long story short, I was well-rounded but not a slave to all of that trendy bullshit like emo. I rocked out to Maiden and Metallica. I was a semi popular kid, because while everyone knew me, they weren't necessarily friends with me.

I didn't really classify myself as apart of any cliques in HS, I was more of the social butterfly. I did have great connection with different people throughout the groups though. Out of all the groups the skater/stoners were my favorite, and I had some great times with all of them.

I led a group of 'outcasts' I guess you could say.
Basically a group of people that didn't really fit in with their peers from whichever grade or standing. We weren't a picky group unless someone was a total dickhead.
We used to just hang out in an out of bounds area (because the school had set areas for different age groups) and muck around. Can't say I miss school overly much, but I do miss hanging out with those guys a decent amount.

With the majority of people I didn't really fit any cliques, but I got on alright with most people and was friendly with any who were friendly to me. I had a bit of a reputation for being a loner among my grade, but that was mostly because outside of school I hung out with my local friends rather than anyone from school.

I was and am just myself. Not a part of any particular group and not any particular label. I am, however, classified as a nerd fairly often and recently I was called an emo. I won't deny that caught me off-guard. Seriously, what? Apparently sitting quietly for half an hour makes you emo...

I was a drama freak I suppose? I hung out with whomever I wanted though. Never really felt like I was stuck with the drama kids. I just enjoyed hanging there the most.

I was a ghost in high school. Barely noticed, often unwelcome when noticed, and hardly missed. But it didn't matter so much to me. Most of my classmates were dimbulbs anyway.
