At my parents' house with my leg up in plaster.
I broke my leg going ice skating on Tuesday, and I only just found out today. I soldiered on for two days at work, as I could bear weight and painkillers helped, but I rested it completely yesterday, feeling that my ankle was experiencing a migraine, is the only pain I could describe it as. I dragged myself off to the walk-in centre this morning, and the nurse there took one look at it, and advised me to go to Accident and Emergency (the British equivalent of ER) with it, which is where I found out it was broken. Seeing as I broke my other ankle two years ago in a stair-related incident at the work's Christmas do. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when I found out. The doctor who examined me was concerned as I was walking on it still. I figured I had been on it for two days; another ten seconds wouldn't matter. I have been warned to not put any weight on it whatsoever for the time being. I have broken stuff before so I will take their advice.
Hopefully I will be picked up on Tuesday by my mum's friend, but I have booked a train ticket already. :/ I'm not sure I can get a refund on it... oops.
