in my youth i spent so much time gaming that it became necessary to prepare my meals beforehand my mother being overwhelmed by the demands of my five siblings and thus didn't notice (or didn't care) when one of them went missing for several hours at a time
don't get me wrong i can imagine how hard it is to take care of six kids
back on subject
i often chose Japanese meals such as homemade rice and meat and Raman
tho as i got older i came to the understanding that it was impractical to spend 30 min- 1 hour making a snack that would only last about ten minutes. it was at this point that i started research on the fabled junkfood
i tried everything from buddy bars to dried yams. alas i could never find the perfect snack food
then one day i woke up at 6 am (a first for me) and i snuk into the kitchen looking for something to ease the pain in my stomach which had been caused by the previous days junk food sampling,
then the most extraordinary thing happened i tripped. (if you knew me you would know that i don't trip easily) i picked myself up preparing to go on a head hunt for whichever of my siblings had left one their
toys/projects on the ground
and then i saw that it wasn't in fact a toy or a project, it was a bag of davids sunflower seeds. being hungry. half awake and in pain. i swiped them off the floor and returned to my room.
i soon learned that this was the perfect snack (to me anyway)
they could last for hours at a time
and they came in different flavors
