In 2006 I got a PS2 and 2 games for around 80 bucks. 1 controller. I got my computer for free with my trade in that was worth 300.

Bought all this for 50 KM/35 $ the other day, it's not even the entire package. I still need to receive five cartridges for N64 along with additional controller plus SNES with dozen games. Got this from a guy who wanted to get rid of his old stuff. I also bought GameBoy Pocket online, it cost me mere 7$.

I'm hoping to get a decent used car off my friend (who is a semi-retired mechanic) for quite a low price.

In the meantime, I bought an old, fully-functional Sega Mega Drive (Genesis) system for £30. I can even pick up old titles from between £2 and £8. Pretty good, I think.

My second PS2 cost me £50, but I have seen them on sale for £25 or less, and that is the slimline and different colour versions (the one I saw was pink, and I was very tempted to get it!)

Im pretty good at finding bargains, though the amount I spend in sales probably equates to more than what id spend at full price since I just end up buying for buyings sake, I have a mountain of clothes and shoes Ive never worn....

I did get FFIV off ebay for 1p brand new when it first came out on the DS mind.

And I managed to get me and 2 friends in a hotel room for £19 between us when we went to galsgow for the weekend which saved extra pennies for vodka

Charity shops hold some good bargains as well. I got a dress for a quid that ive seen go recently for about £40.

I do like a good bargain

Oh I got a psp off a freind of mine for £45 a few years ago, but then I dropped it and cracked the screen which cost me 20 quid, then recently I dropped it down the stairs and broke it completely

I bought a pink one off ebay for £75

I bought a SNES for a tenner when mine went MIA

I got my FFVII for 12 bucks. Beat that, or maybe a PS3 for 50, try that on for size. I got them used, but who cares, as long as they work.

    Re: What A Bargain!

I am IMPRESSED by these deals. Good work people

I just remembered that the greatest bargains I've received of all time!!

My boyfriends family are always getting new stuff, so the give it to us

And the unit we were living in at the beginning of the year, was COMPLETELY flooded in the Queensland Floods. And we didn't have a trailer to get our stuff out so we lost most of it BUT! We had alot of help

My boyfriends sister, gave us a tv unit, 2 couches, a 3 seater chaise and 2 seater in very good condition, for free!

My boyfriends father, gave us a plasma tv, not sure how big but it's BIG, for free. And we got EVERYTHING you could possibly need for a house.

And my grandparents gave me A LOT of money, to buy a huge stainless steel fridge, washing machine and dryer for $2000 brand new! That's pretty good.

I just realised that I'm a charity case! Oh well we really needed and appreciated all the help.

I went into a local store called Gamebusters and got FF13 for $15, in great condition, and then I went up to the counter and asked if they had RE5 and he gave it to me for FREE! Simply because it had a small crack in it.. and it works just fine 2 great games for 15 bucks

    Re: What A Bargain!

I bought a brand new EyeToy and the EyeToy game, all sealed and together for 75p (was 99p, but employee discount and all ). Old, crappy game, but I remember never being able to afford one when I was a kid and really wanted one. Might be a bit of a laugh.

I know! I was going to buy Kingdom Hearts on the DS, but then I spotted KH and KH2, they were both $40 each, but they were on sale for... half price! Oh yeah. I thought I'd better snap them up, because, as you said, they are hard to find.

Jeez! $20 bucks a month! That's crazy. Hope you find a better bank.
