It's happened to me. In fact, in my profile there is a little note where it says I deleted a comment, which I accidentally posted when I tried to reply to a comment. Don't feel bad, you aren't the only one.
Twice, I have been accused of double posting. What really happened was I posted one comment and SUBMITTED then I saw something else and posted a new comment. Somehow, both times, the comments got linked.
Has this happened to anyone else?

I know there's no cause to be rude, don't mean to nag, but there's this thing called the 'Edit' button.
I use it all the time. As soon as I press 'Submit Reply' I often think of something rather amusing to add, so please, to avoid the wrath of the admins, just use that, 'kay?
It's on the bottom right hand corner of your post. Just an FYI; some people can be mighty sensitive about it... Double posting, that is.
EDIT: Also, a lot of forums powered by this site will pick up a duplicate post as well, keep an eye out It's happened to me a few times. Genuine edit there, I wasn't proving a point or anything...
