    At war with EB games

    So basically my gf pre-ordered limited editions of ffXIII-2 and Persona Q from eb games only to recieve the 'special' edition. This is a huge mistake on their behalf, as collectors editions usually are all gone by the time of release. I have written a complaint to customer service only to be told the following;

    "We thank you kindly for the feedback you’ve provided and have confirmed with our buying team that we only ever stocked the standard edition of Persona Q: Shadows of the Labyrinth – we did not have any limited edition that we were taking preorders for."

    ... thats great... so why were your staff accepting pre-orders for limited editions?

    I have replied asking thats its not good enough and to speak to someone else.

    obviously I wont have anything to do with EB games from now on, DungeonCrawl is getting all my buisiness.

    As far as I know, ALL releases were coined as "limited" because they came with the tarot cards at launch. Lots of RPGs do that. Now, Persona Q did have a special edition sku, and for the associate not to verify that with you is kind of crap.

    As for FFXIII-2, wasn't that one online only? Someone needs to educate some associates.

    i recieved another response from them which doesnt really state much other than they are going to get the area manage to look into it and that if I would like too, the area manager would call me to discuss furthar. I have replied saying that I am not interested in how they handle the matter, but rather that they just be informed. I also stated ill be doing buisiness with dungeon crawl (arch enemy of EB games).

    This whole ordeal sounds like a nightmare.

    You'll be in my prayers, Rowan.
    Let's go into the "archives" in "Washington D.C." and find out how people "masturbated" in the "roaring 20's."

    Crao Porr Cock8. Bitch.
