Are you a fan of going on vacations? and where do you like to go visit? I personally love vacations, it depends on where its at though. Going somewhere thats not interesting isn't much of a vacation to me.
I absolutely love vacations but I can't imagine someone saying they wouldn't like going on vaca right? I've been on quite a few family vacations and if you say that going to the beach for a three day weekend is a vaca then we do that all the time being in FL and especially with all the beaches in the Tampa Bay area. Love sitting out on the beach.
We've also gone skiing multiple times to various places like North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and even as far north as Vermont/New Hampshire and I always have a great time skiing, it's great fun. I would like to go out West skiing sometime, to places Colorado or Utah to get some real powdery snow but that is in my wish list =)
Love vacations, but then again who doesn't. Luckily I don't have to go that far to have a great vacation, everything I need is near me, guess I'm blessed. The Adriatic sea's really close, there are some beautiful places to visit, especially in summer, so I usually pop in Croatia for few weeks, luckily I have a lot of relatives there so I always have a place to stay. There's also a great skiing place few hours from here, though I'm not really a winter person so I usually don't go, and when I do I prefer staying in my cabin drinking tea.
As for the places I would like to visit, I always wanted to see Spain, Valencia if possible. I hear it's a beautiful place, always admired their culture, love their language, cuisine and I always wanted to be a part some of their events, like their carnivals that are hugely known around the world.
It depends where the vacation is to. I'm not a huge fan of burning to a crisp upon walking out of your hotel. That being said I'm not a big fan of the cold, either. I like moderate heat and lots to do. The best holiday I ever went on was one to Florida a few years back. I went with all of my family and just had an absolute blast. It's the only time I remember being able to stay in a room with my younger sister without killing her.
The worst... A trip to Bulgaria back in 2002. My dad and I got food poisoning on our first day there. For the whole time we were there I never left the hotel. How crap is that?
I've seen a lot of cool things in my short life but there's a lot more to see.
I've seen:
The Eiffel tower.
The Statue of Liberty.
Colossus.
Pyramids.
I want to see:
Leaning tower of Piza.
Great wall of China.
Hoover Dam.
There are more but I got bored of thinking.
Anywho. I love seeing things, I hate extreme temperatures.
Hyz.
Cogito, ergo sum.

I love vacations, and I'm ready for one right now. I just want to get out of the area where I live and experience something new for a bit. I have no idea where I want to go or what I want to do, I just know that I'm ready to go pretty much wherever!
Most of the family vacations I've went on have just been trips to Branson, Missouri. It's fun, and I'm not really complaining about going there, but I just want to go somewhere different. I wouldn't mind hitting up the beach somewhere along the coast of the US, and I would definitely like to have some more worldly adventures sometime! Places like Peru, Italy, Great Britain, Australia and/or New Zealand seem like great places to visit, though that's probably not likely to happen for me anytime soon.
I just got back from a mini-vacation myself, I was up at a friend's wedding for the weekend! Fun times to be had for all and I'm still drinking water to recover from the last two days of intoxication. But yeah, it's good to get away once in a while and take it in from a new perspective, I think everyone needs that.
I think some of my favorite vacations included Cancun (ACE beaches, lots of stuff to do, etc.) and Belize (again, beautful scenery, great people, an amazing country imo). Those are the ones that stood out to me the most.
The worst "vacation" for me was the one I had from September-December of 2009. My family was stuck in the Hilton in for 3+ months because of a giant housefire that happened. Being stuck in a hotel sucked, especially because of the circumstances at hand. I did get used to having my room cleaned everyday though, but that's about as far as it got to being good.

Block: I do like the rePETEr except it kinda makes it sound like you're going to pork Pete. No homo.

I've been going to the same place on holiday for the past 6 years. It's brilliant and I love it; best 2 weeks of the year. Only a small typical beach resort, but I love the opportunity to relax and the friends I've made through going there.
Of course, I love vacation. My family and I rarely take a long trip, but in spite of that, my family love to go to the beach. Especially my lil brother. He always wanted to go to the beach during school holiday.
And about taking a trip, I prefer going with my friends to going with family. It feels more fun On last study tour my friends and I went to Borobudur Temple in Yogyakarta, Central Java. We also visited Prambanan Temple, we went shopping in the famous Malioboro Street, and watched Ramayana Ballet. It was so exciting!
I don't take many vacations, it's more short road trips. I've been all over NY State, and to places all around the East Coast, like Philly, Baltimore, DC and Florida. Also been to Chicago and Indiana before as well. I've also been to Toronto.
This is the best vacation though.
Crack a few of these bad boys and who cares where you are, life is good.

Me and my friends vacation whenever possible. The last one we went on was to Miami. The original plan was to go to Orlando, but Miami has way better bars, and clubs. We met one of our friends from high school.
Pretty much I consider a vacation anytime spent away from the bullshit that is life. Meaning if me and my buddies go for a weekend fishing trip, that is a f*cking vacation. Shit we fish all damn night while drinking ice cold beers.
Sitting here waiting for Rocky, and Che to notice me!!
Haven't really gotten away in over a year thanks to work.
Have gone around most parts of Australia in the past though, and it is a place that can be quite varied in different parts: deserts, snow, bush, city, country, reefs, rainforests etc...
I love vacations, especially the lazy variety.
It's in my nature.
I like to go on vacations with the people I love to about anywhere in the world as long as there is alcohol to consume and family / friends to spend my day with I have not a care in the world.

My vacation involves me not working. Now whether I spend that visiting a friend in another state or whatever is whatever. I don't plan on going on vacations anytime in the next couple years though.

Vacations with friends and loved ones are great. Add in alcohol and random things... I'm also a history nerd, so I like checking out museums if they've got anything worthwhile to see (read as ancient --> renaissance). Beaches and water activities are also plus.
Going away for vacation is overrated. It costs money, which is something that Obama forces me not to have. Airports are overpriced, overcrowded, and their pretzels make me thirsty. I don't like buses, because people get rapped on them. I don't like cruise ships, because they're really, really gay. A vacation for me consists of not working and not spending any money for an extended period of time, so since I'm unemployed, that's every day.
