Total Lunar Eclipse - Wednesday
Hey guys!
It's about time I made a thread again. So hey, what are you doing Wednesday night? I'll tell you. Go outside and look at the last total lunar eclipse for the next three years.
The Americas actually lucked out on this one. Sorry, Australia.
I'll be watching it from 8:43PM to 12:09AM. Weeeell I might leave earlier than that, the total eclipse ends at 10:51PM. But then, I don't have class the next day, so who knows?
Scroll down and find your time zone.
So those of you who get to watch it, will you go anywhere special?
Have you watched one of these before?
What time will it happen for you?
Etc etc.
I live about twenty to thirty minutes from the beach (an island, specifically), so I'll be going there to watch it. It'll be nice and dark, and if we drive out early enough, we can go get hotdogs at a nearby restaurant before the eclipse starts.
I'm pretty excited. If I had a better camera, I would be out there snapping like crazy.
What about you guys?
EDIT: Lunar eclipse = the Earth getting between the moon and the sun.
