Since you opened with a fast food mishap I'll follow on with one that I experienced. Only mine isn't to my benefit xP But it's still a screw up!

It had been a long day, I was tired from all the work and time was running short. So. What is the answer we all ask ourselves? Save some time and get some fast food! As soon as this thought swam through my head I got myself to the closest fast food outlet (I was desperate). It was a Hardee's. Not really my preference but whatever right? When in need of refueling it must be done!
Scanning the menu I decided to go for (not one.. I was so hungry I tell you!) but two of the mushroom burgers. In the description might I add it says mushrooms and a beef burger. I declined the fries that came with the order though. I'm not that greedy.
Having arrived back at home I savagely rip open the back of lush bad fat possessing food, and fling off the burger wrappers. Sinking my jaws into the tender flesh of the bread, I feel the 'Hallelujah chorus' ringing through my ears. Oh sweetness itself... the bread.. the mushrooms... the.... WHAT!? WHAT IS THIS?!
Mushrooms - check.
Bread - check.
Burger - .... ABSENT.
Yes, I had been given two mushroom burgers alright. A bun - filled with mushrooms. No meat.
Devastated I remember dropping the burger in a desperate attempt to rummage in the unforgiving paper bag. It gave me no answers, with the exception of its loud rustling. Defeated I pick up the receipt. What I desired was listed on the receipt... but not only that... they had charged me for two full meals and not just the burgers.
I can tell you.. I wish I had ordered the chips then ^~. Oh and I did eat the mushroom bun. Just so you know .

Now for a screw up for my benefit. *Clears throat*

There was a buy one get one free sale in some game shop. As a game addict I was quite obviously going to snap up the offer. Being blonde I didn't think to see where the division ended in the store for this offer... I was young and naive! Honest... Well if I'm honest there was a sign hanging over the games I was looking at... So anyway, I see two games I like. And they're quite heavily priced so there's me thinking 'Wow what a great offer!'. I take them over, and sure enough I get one free.
Returning home I phone my friend - also a gameaholic - and inform her of the fab new offer. She goes in the next day and picks the EXACT games I did. She proceeds to the checkout. XD Then the man tells her that he's sorry but those games weren't in the sale and then redirects her to the ones that are.
Omigosh I felt so bad ;_; So I returned to the store and returned my free game insisting I rebuy it xD My conscience couldn't live with it xP.
