TFF New Layout?

I think its time for TFF to get a new layout. Dont get me wrong i love seeing Rinoa lookin like she needs a tan, Lightning's eye o_0, and..... Noctis. But its getting a little old, if i could design a layout i happily would but i unfortunately cant.... Opinions?

I'm not seeing anything wrong with the layout. The colors are fine with me, especially since I love the black n blue. It's easy on my eyes and that's really all that matters to me. On top of that, you've been here a grand total of 7 months and are one of the very few people I see complaining.

Plus, anything is better than the Down Syndrome moogle we used to have. Please tell me someone has a pic of that archived somewhere.

It's better than having it on TFF light. Apparently, the banner still hasn't been fixed yet. It's been missing for a while now too.

Pete, did the moogle look something like this? Because I think there's a version of it still on the home page. Not sure. I haven't checked out that part of the site in a loooooong time.

EDIT:: No, the banner in TFF Dark doesn't bother me. I don't really pay attention to it to be honest with you.

I think the layout is fine the way it is too, and is good on the eyes. The banner is perfectly fine as well.

I remember when we first joined, there were some more options available though... they seem to have gone...

I would like for there to be a layout that is between TFF Light and TFF Dark. There used to be one that had different shades of blue. I think that was either 5.1 or TFF Blue. I can't remember anymore, but, nonetheless, I would still like something like that back. I think that TFF Dark is too dark, and TFF Light gets to be a little old after a while and apparently burns your eyes if you view it for extended periods of time.

TFF Light has a better banner than TFF Dark in my opinion. The one in TFF Dark isn't bad, but I prefer the one in TFF Light.

TFF Dark has remained mostly unchanged since I first joined and probably even before I joined. The only real change to it has been the banner at the time. Should be glad you're seeing this instead of the previous banner TFF Dark had. Which was a low-res rain covered surface that we have for something like 6 years or so. Eventually, I nagged Fuzz about changing it and after a while he put up the banner I made, though it was longer. He chopped it down to a significantly smaller size for some reason. Which was a little strange since the previous banner had an auto resize feature to make it fit to your window so I made it larger so that it would scale down better. *shrugs*

But if you're looking for a change there is a TFF Light which you can access the layouts down at the extreme bottom most left side of any page. Since you're seeing Rinoa, Lightning, etc you're using TFF Dark and it'll say that. Just open the drop-down menu and you can switch to TFF Light. And Unknown is correct, we used to have six layout options. But I think Fuzz might have removed. I think it had to do with one of the switches of vB versions or server changes that occurred and messed up all of the layouts. So Fuzz cut out the others and focused on the two more popular ones. TFF Dark in general seems to be the most used mainly because people seem to agree it is easier to have on the screen, especially at night.

2 is perfectly fine, a dark one for people who don't like bright lights on their monitors and people who like to burn their eyes. There has been only 1 White layout I have ever used on a forums and it was a FFIX themed one...which was illegally put on that site lol.

Layout I love, banner isn't unpleasant on the eye, but I can't help but feel the FF series as a whole isn't as well represented as it could have been. Needz moar characters.

Well quite some time ago when they are planning on making FF theme specific banners for the site I think or maybe the forums itself. I created about 40 banners that ran FFVII-FFXII. It did not cover every single character in existence, but each game got a lot of love. I think the plan was going to be set the banners on randomize or something and you'd get a new banner every time. Sadly, that never ended up happening so I have like 40 banners with nothing to do with. Though I end a year or two back put them in my sig doing a new banner a day for a month. Interesting enough no one commented on it. *shrugs*

Whether I like to have my forum layout/skin bright is no indicative that I like my eyes burnt. It's standing too much in the dark that makes your eyes burn.

Though, I miss TFF Oldskool. Which...I believe it's exactly TFF Dark, but with the rain-layer that Andro mentioned. And a tad similar in font to TFF Light or something.

Still, one of those layers has to be restored. TFF "Light" and "Dark" remind me of the old faction battles in here (not the restoration attempt, but when the BoD was here), and that's one tear I don't wanna shed.

Except that I own every single main series FF game Telegraph. The work I do hasn't called on me to use older FF games yet so I never started up a collection. I actually only have a ton of images for FFX-2 and FFXII because I only started collecting images around the time FFX-2 was being talked about. So I saved every single press released or fan screen I could find of the two games. I actually have very little of FFVII-FFX because I never actively sought out images on mass. I grabbed them when people needed work or something.

I have like 10 of each for FFVII-FFX and then I have like 200 for FFX-2 and FFXII and probably like 50 for FFXIII. Computer issues among other things have halted my fanatical collecting of FF press releases.

I love Collecting Pctures form Different FF'S i dont know why but i really enjoy IX'S pictures alot. I liked the game but it wasnt my favorite, i think its because i liked the characters (Mostly Vivi,Zidane, Garnet and Freya)
and i liked the buildings and the scenery in IX alot

I agree it is very good on the eyes! A layout with all the FF characters is a good idea!
