Do you put a lot of effort in your appearance? you don't have to answer these specific questions just examples.


Well, I'll start with shoes, since shoes say a lot about our taste. I wear a lot of Vans since I kind of have to, but it's good because I like them and I don't like wearing big sneakers anymore. Most of the time I wear Toms, they're simple slip-ons, lots of different patterns and solid colors: Toms Classics I wear dressier shoes but only for special occasions, I don't like walking around in heels if there's really no need to because then I feel like a hooker haha.

I always wear either shorts or skinny jeans, I don't like flared jeans. I wear dresses rarely and if I do it's a short one, like a cover up for the beach. I don't like dresses because I always feel like a five year old wanting to be a pretty princess but I like nice blouses. I wear normal t-shirts sometimes, usually on my bum days.

I have A LOT of necklaces, I like long ones. I wear rings on occasion but I don't really care for bracelets, because I feel like they're in the way most of the time. I don't wear earrings because I have plugs.

My hair is really curly, so I usually blow dry it out, I like it straight so I have to do a lot of conditioning -_- I have a lot of hair....

And for makeup I wear foundation when I need it, and eye makeup but never heavy. I don't like a lot because by the end of the day my face feels all nasty.

It depends on my day, if I'm just at home or nipping out to the shop I keep my glasses on and hair tied up, but if I'm going out somewhere, like to vist/meet people or take the kids to their playgroups or if I'm going out in the evening, them I let my hair down, contacts in with my make up done. I only wear eye make up so if I'm keeping my glasses on I don't bother with it.
As for clothes, goin going out clubbing I eithe wear a mini denim skirts and low cut/tight tops or one of my short strappy black dresses.
Casual day to day I wear my jeans and any top I pull out, or on hot days a denim mini skirt with black or white leggins it depends on the top I'm wearing with it.
I have quite a few necklaces and a ton of braclets but I always forget to wear them unless I'm going out in the evening.
Shoes, sometimes my trainers but normally anything with a heel, I love heels

Well let me follow in Gypsy Elder's format by starting with my footwear.

I mostly wear boots unless I'm wearing something more formal then I will wear formal shoes like Stacy Adams or Rockports. I have a couple of my dad's old sneakers but I haven't used them in a while. I don't wear sneakers, even if new, because I don't think they look good with button-down shirts. I have a few Timberlands, a pair of Frye's and a pair of Aldo's.

And because I don't own any good sneakers, I don't have any shorts. I have full-length pants, mostly jeans. I don't care about my legs in the summer as they don't get that hot. I'm not fond of shorts and boots, just seems pretty bad - especially with a button-down shirt.

I have a lot of button-down shirts mostly long sleeve and quite a few of them are fitted. I do have a few t-shirts for the summer time or for winter, it doesn't matter to me.

My hair is cut short nothing special is done to it as it is too short. Plus I have a receding hair line and gray hair .

Oh and I don't wear make-up.

Well, here lately, I've mostly been dressing for comfort. That usually means tank top and cotton pants. Pretty much just your basic lounge wear. I also just slip on some flip-flops or house shoes, because I don't like walking around with bare feet. Oh, and my hair is most usually put up in a ponytail. I'm long overdue for a haircut, so that's the only practical style I can think of to keep my hair out of my face.

If I'm dressing up or something, then I like to think that I dress up alright, but I suppose I just like to walk around in more casual-looking clothes. I like to wear jeans, but I do have a few pair of bermuda-length denim shorts, and a couple of pair of short shorts that I wear if it's too hot for jeans. I have a few dressier-looking tops that I wear, but most usually, I just layer a shirt over a tank top.

Ha... My shoes... I don't really care about those too much. I have tennis shoes and sandals that I like to wear in the summertime, and I have a few pair of boots that I wear in the fall/winter time.

Oh, and make-up. I'm picky when it comes to that, so a vast majority of it comes from Clinique. When I actually wear it, I mostly focus on my eyes, so I like to wear liner, shadow and mascara. Foundation is also a must for me, because I feel like it evens out my skin tone, and makes me less self-conscience about my complexion when it's acting up. Oh, and finally, I wear a bit of blush to put some color in my cheeks. It sounds like a lot, but I really just do it subtly, so it doesn't look pancaked on.

It's hard for me to describe my general sense of style. I'm sort of.... feminine, occasionally androgynous... sometimes sporty, sometimes classic, trendy, eccentric, boring.... I guess one thing I don't wear is animal print. Maybe when I'm 40.

Uh..... basics.... I wear a lot of yoga pants/workout pants if I'm just going to the store, visiting a friend, etc.

I have two pairs of linen pants (red and green) for casual occasions. Three pairs of jeans, one pair different from the next. Shorts, skirts, dresses. I do like dresses/sundresses. I wear them well and I'm comfortable in them. Though, depending on the activity, I'll wear leggings underneath.

Tops aplenty. Vests, jackets, scarves (I love scarves), earrings, necklaces.

I have several pairs of Converse (got them as gifts back in highschool, haha), some FitFlops, some Vibram FiveFingers (for working out/running/kickboxing), a few pairs of heels that I avoid wearing (but will if necessary), a pair of ballet slippers, and a couple pairs of boots.

My favorite "goin out" shoes are the boots my mother wore back when she used to ride her Harley across the country, mostly to see the Grand Tetons. She gave them to me and I wear them all seasons.


Makeup... uh, well. Neutrogena foundation is my shit. I have sensitive skin. Up until recently, I've just been applying a line of brown eyeliner over my top lid and letting that be it. But I splurged at the M.A.C store and bought some primer (for the eyelids) and a few new shades of shadow. That's been fun. I tend toward 'natural' with my makeup.

Hair. Easy. My hair is so low maintenance. I don't wash it every day. When I do wash it, I wash it in the evening, put it up, go to sleep, let it down in the morning. It starts out all crazy, but it settles quickly. I have naturally straight hair with a little bit of curl at the ends, but if I blow dry it, I can make it completely straight (I know because I went through an Avril phase at 14). My only complaint: I have a lot of hair, but it's very fine. It's hard for me to keep a curl or pin things in it; everything slips out. Headbands are a joke to my hair.

Hmm, lets see. I wear some make-up.

Okay, I wear a lot of make-up if I'm doing something with friends that day, but only on my eyes and very rarely black apart from a thin eyeline. I love colours. I'll wear greens, blues, yellows, oranges... whatever I feel like that day.

My hair is easy. I have sky blue highlights throughout some of the time and my hair is naturally loosely curled. Sometimes I straighten it, or tie it up or just leave it. It's long -- about breast level with choppy layers throughout.

As for clothing, either my chunky blue suede trainers or my combat boots. I wear cargo pants or baggy jeans on my bottom half...I don't even remember the last time I wore a dress or skirt.
As for my top half... I guess I wear nicely fitting tops, but long ones... usually with a button-up shirt over it. There always seems to be some ubaaahr cleavage showing... that's the curse of big breasts, though, I'm afraid.

Well, I like to wear something with a lot of quality and design. You know, like a lot of effort went into the design and stuff. I especially like anything with a grungy-type look to it and my love for skulls is unexplainable!

I normally wear Firetrap, No Fear, Saints and Sinners or something like that for a t-shirt because they're quite showy and I like to be different. You see people with identical Nike tops and stuff and I think it looks God-awful! xD

For jeans, I'll wear anything that seems nice. It doesn't matter about the make because I'm not like that. If it's nice to look at, I'll wear it! I have some POLICE jeans with like a million zips on it, River Island jeans that are pretty plain but are a little stonewashed, and Lee Cooper jeans that are a throw-on. My mum wanted me to get shorts for a holiday that's coming up but I CAN'T STAND THE THINGS! xD

Socks and shoes are... well... I'm really not bothered at all. I find that people will look at your torso and legs a lot more than looking at your feet so I really don't care. I guess I'm into anything that looks good, really. I want some custom shoes of the internet like some Darth Vader Addidas or LP ones or just something that looks awesome. I have Nikes at the moment and they're... terrible but I have to put up with them because my mum nags. Socks... hmm, well I like ones with jokes on them and stuff like the Simpsons and stuff like that. =3

About the hair, well, I have it long! I don't do anything with it though every single person that I pass asks if I had it straightened! xD I've never straightened before so I guess my hair is lucky or something. Today in school, someone said it looked Asian-y so that was pretty funny, too! xD =D

I generally go with a t-shirt of some band/video game character/beer/whatever, jeans, and skater shoes (usually black.) I got a wallet chain that is actually a dog chain, I think. I take less than five minutes in the morning to do my hair; if it takes longer, that is too long. I like stuff with skulls, or cartoon characters. Right now, trying to grow a goatee. Dunno how I feel about it. It may go away soon. Also got a really short mo/faux hawk right now.

If I want to dress nice, I usually go with like a pair of black dress or work pants, plus a relatively nice button up shirt, and my normal skater shoes. I also have a black dress jacket I wear on occasion, a gray jacket/vest/pants combo that I dunno if I've ever actually worn, and some ties that I sometimes wear. Usually I'll wear a white button up shirt with those jackets, but sometimes I just go with another button up shirt. Anyhoo...

EDIT: Oh yeah, and I have a black dickies jacket with some band patches on the back (Five Iron Frenzy, Less Than Jake, and Telegraph). I'll occasionally wear a hoody or a windbreaker. And I have a couple baseball caps (Dead Guy Ale and a Mario hat! And an OSU hat I don't wear as often anymore.)

Well, I don't spend a lot of time on my appearance, I haven't changed my style in years so when I wake up I get ready in no time, it became some kind of routine.

Because I have a medium long hair and I use a lot of gel I can pull any combination I want, I usually go with something in Jin Kazama manner, or something spiky if I feel really lazy.

I like to wear Chucks, classic black or some kind of sport sneakers, shoes are not an option.

Though I feel more comfortable in track suit I usually wear jeans, I used to wear baggy jeans for one period of time but got rid of hem really quick, now I just wear regular jeans, no particular style, perhaps loose jeans the most.

I love T-Shirts, usually with some kind of message, funny picture, logo, band or game character on it, besides that I also know to wear a jersey quite often. On colder days you can see me with hoodie.

That's about it, add glasses, short beard and you get me.

In terms of shoes, at the moment I'm just wearing a pair of black Converse. I hate how that style was stolen by emos in the early 2000s. It's damn '90s grunge, and don't you forget it. They're just damn comfortable, and I like the way they look. Some people say they're unoriginal, and I say that if you think they're unoriginal, then you clearly care too much about how people see you, and not what you feel good about wearing.

In terms of pants, I exclusively wear skinny jeans. I don't like the feel of jeans that aren't tight. Not too tight like there's nothing left to the imagination, but they are semi-difficult to get out of. If I'm going to the gym, I'll wear track pants, but the gym is only a five minute walk from my house. In summer I usually wear baggy shorts and jandals. (I think they're called 'flip-flops' everywhere else, except Australia, where they're called 'thongs'...sorry, I mean 'thooonnnngs'.)

Umm in terms of everything else, I'm not sure how to explain it. I like scarves in winter, and jackets. I've got a sweet brown leather jacket with a woolen trim and hood, and it's serving me well (it was freaking -3 degrees Celsius yesterday). When it's warmer, thin long-sleeve tops do me well. But there's nothing I like more in summer than a t-shirt made out of organic cotton.

I just toss my hair with some hair wax. Mostly just to stop myself from looking like the Beatles. I preferred when I had shoulder-length hair, but I did get sick of the associated androgyny.

How would I describe the way that I dress, well especially now living in this Florida heat I'm usually seen in athletic shorts and some kind of t-shirt, whether it be an old baseball shirt from college or high school or a variety of work out shirts that I have drawers of that were once either undershirts or acquired via playing baseball.

Aside from baseball I have my jeans that I like to wear, pretty much like two pairs, one a darker shade of blue than the other. Shirt wise, if I wanted to look a little nicer for college that day I would be wearing either a nice shirt usually from Express or those major chains expect Hollister, don't really like that line. I wear AE, Express, Element, Aero, and some Stetson Univ/Tampa Univ clothing. I've also been a Gator fan my whole life so those shirts slip in there a lot too. I have button ups that I wear as well but they don't come out as much just because it is so hot most of the year I just can't do it, and I like dressing in all black a lot when I dress up so yea...In the winter I sometimes do wear my sweat pants out of the house as well as around the house just because they are so darn comfortable. If it's nice enough inside my house I'll throw them on too.

I have 5 different pairs of sneakers that I rotate, black K-Swiss's that can go with almost anything, two pairs of brown sneakers one lighter than the other, and then 2 pairs of athletic running/training shoes that I use for working out, wearing to the baseball field before slipping my spikes on and such. One of them is Nike the other Mizuno, also color coordinated to the respective teams I used to wear them for.

I think my hair is a typical hair cut, my hair is longer in the front and is naturally up, I don't use any hair gel or spray or anything. I also wear a wide variety of baseball hats, go figure. My favorite team is the Mets so there are like 5 different Met hats I have but I also have the hometown Rays in my collection as well as others expect for the Yankees, Red Sox, Phillies and pretty much no one in the NL East lol But yea that's the best I could sum myself up style wise I suppose

Starting with shoes, I wear some sick looking Nikes high tops. All white and blue, but they're super old and not in great shape so this thread reminds me of going shoe shopping like sometime this week ^^;

Next up, what kind of clothes does Rocky wear? Well I'm a big fan of t-shirts and zip up hoodies. I frequently shop at Pacsun for everyday stuff to wear. I like wearing Fox, Element, Hurley, etc type of shirts. If I'm going for something dressy then I also have some nice American Eagle "heavier" shirts that I wear. When the weather gets less than friendly, I have a spring/fall time Element jacket, and I also have a nice American Eagle hoodie sherpa jacket for the winter time that keeps me warm. As for pants, I like wearing painter's style pants which are generally loose fitting and baggy but I can also roll with the skinny jeans as well. I don't discriminate.

I don't have my fauxhawk around anymore for now but I'm growing my hair out to the typical Zac Efron/Justin Bieber style flip haircut again. I just got bored of maintaining the hair for now and I'd like to grow my hair out all summer and see how it goes. Also I have contacts but I typically wear glasses because I don't care for my eyes to look like I've been smoking weed all night, I get that enough already lol.

I'm very casual and laid back with my clothing. I dislike over the top things, and prefer to keep it simple.

So, I basically live in jeans. I dislike skinny jeans, and flares - skinny jeans are plain awful and don't leave much to the imagination (ie HUGE ass, bony legs, wobble or balls) and flares? Duuude, just no... I like bootcut jeans, so somewhere in the middle. Also, I'm picky on colours - they have to be dark. I dislike light blues, and love dark greys, dark grey/blues or blacks.

As for tops... in winter, I have a large selection of jumpers. Some people think jumpers = unattractive, but it's about getting the right ones. I like low neck, slightly clingy jumpers, with materials that aren't overly thick or shirt-thin. For summer, I have shirts and thin tops. Today I wore a grey vest top with a white shirt. I don't leave the house wearing just a vest top - I feel weird without having anything on, and a little self conscious... ^^;

As for footware? I own a few pairs of sneakers and pumps. Guess what gets worn most often? Sneakers! So comfortable! I don't get it when I see woman wear these stupidly ridiculous shoes out in public, walk around a lot, and THEN complain. The pumps are for more of dress up days, I suppose. You wouldn't wear sneakers to a formal thing.

As for accessories... I wear my necklace and a bracelet. When it looks cold out, I pick up a scarf. I've taken a liking to scarves lately. Not tea-towl rags teenagers are wearing around lately - scarves made from lovely materials. I own three; a black one, a grey/silverish one and a multicoloured one (my favourite).

As for hair... simples. When it's been cut, it's down more often. When it gets longer, I tie it back more often in a lose ponytail.

If you're a girl, do you wear makeup? how much? i don't wear makeup. ive tried, iv'e had friends do it on me but its really not my thing. i'll wear a little on a special occasion but other than that i could really care less.

Do you put a lot of effort in your appearance? not usually. i figure im just going to take a shower at the end of the day so all the effort i'd put into my appearance that morning usually isn't worth it. i'll throw on something thats clean and walk out the door

shoes - either chucks or vans usually. ive got a couple pairs of flip flops to wear to the pool and stuff. im not really a big shoe person, i find what i like and i stick with it.

bottoms - cargo pants. i dont carry around a purse so i can easily stuff my wallet, keys and phone in the side pockets. as far as jeans go, just good 'ol boot cut. ive tried on skinny jeans from time to time but my mom butt just isn't doing them justice. if im just lounging around the house yoga pants are the way to go. as far as shorts are concerned, i typically go with bermuda shorts.

tops - t-shirts? really nothing too fancy. ive gotten a lot of my shirts off of teefury. when the weather gets cooler i'll throw on a flannel shirt over my other shirt (good god i love flannel shirts) and a hoodie when it gets cold. in the summer i usually live in tank tops

accessories - 2 rings i wear just about every day - silver with flames etched in it and a plastic one with a flying robot. usually wear atleast one necklace a day; ive got a bunch ive made over the years with beads and hemp .as far as piercings, ive got a green nose stud and plugs in my ears (i favor wooden and glass)

hair - well now that ive got a "real job" i have to look like a "normal" human being. in college i had my hair so many different colors. but now its either brown (natural) or i turn into a redhead to match my sons hair. my hair is short and naturally curly-wavey. sometimes it looks cute curled but on those days where it looks like a train wreck, i straighten it.

Hmmm lets see there are so many ways I can go with this so I will break it down and into specific situations.

Work - I tend to wear what the hand book calls out with vary little variation. Blue jeans are a normal style pant while I will generally support a company tee. Now where myself comes into this is that I tend to only have work with a hole in the knee, the right one to be specific. No I did not buy them this way but for some reason that knee always gives out first.

Then again I am always having to work in odd positions so naturally I will use my right knee or leg to balance / prop myself with. SO more then likely that would be why. Also I tend to not use chairs because they move to much so if I have to get low I will generally go down to my right knee, like in a lower stance shooting position.

As for work shoes I like something that I can be comfortable in seeing I spend a good chunk of my day on my feet standing in a few select locations or running around the building like a chicken with my head cut off. Right now I am supporting Pumas.

I tend to not shave much during the work week so by Friday I am usually looking like Grizzly Adams. I usually just wake up and run some water through my hair to get it to lay flat.

Home - Pretty basic and by saying that I also go for comfort. Depending on what kind of lazy I feel I will usually be wearing something like soccer shorts, shorts, paintball shorts, or a pair of good old blue jeans topped off with an A-shirt (AKA the WIFE BEATER).

As for home shoes, none if I don't have need them. When I get up and around and make it out side it is usually some old busted, broken in flip flops.

Going out - This really depends on where I am going, who I am going with and if I have the kids or not. For this I am going to say with out the kids and including the wife and some friends. Something like going to a bar.

Hair: Spiked in a frenzy of sharpy goodness.
Face: Clean shaved with the exception of the side burns.
Shirt: Usually a polo style shirt with some kind of print to it. I've got a few t-shirts that make it into the mix.
Undershirt: an A-shirt. Always have the A-shirt on no matter where I am at with the exception of bed and a pool.
Pants: Generally blue jeans
Shoes: Either my Adidas shell toes or my other set of Pumas (both are white and blue.) In some certain situations I have a pair of ankle cut boots that are for soem of the more dress code related environments.

99% percent of the time though it is blue jeans and a beater. I like to spike up the hair but I don't like to shave every day so the mix of the two is never a good thing.

I don't sag or anything. At least I try not to. My pants start getting heavier at the end of the day because I have to carry so much shit around.

I'm usually pretty classy, but I haven't been shopping in a while. I just recently got two new pairs of shorts though from American Eagle. They're like cargo, but no pockets on the side, cause those are useless.

And usually I just wear some kind of t-shirt in the summer. Doesn't really matter what it is because it's comin off anyway. AMIRITE

Hair: It takes about 5-10 minutes to style my hair. I like to keep it messy and spiked in an Asian style. [1][2]
Clothing: I wear a lot of plaid long and short sleeved shirts over a tight fit shirt. When I'm wearing long sleeved plaid shirts, I like to roll up my sleeves half way. I wear a lot of American Eagle, Aero, and Element, but I wouldn't mind other brands as long as it is plaid, haha. As far as jeans go, I like it at a darker shade of blue. Whether it is tight fit or baggy doesn't matter me.
Accessories: I wear a black sweatband on my right wrist and my Senior class ring on my middle finger.
Shoes: I wear Vans and Converses. Currently, I'm wearing Navy Plaid Vans Era Skate Shoes.
