Le Anime Style

I draw in anime style for quite some time and everything I draw is basically original, be it characters or something else it's created by me and I tend to be original as much as I can. Recently I started to draw manga, only created few pages and I'll be honest it's very hard when only one person works on it. Anyway I want your opinions but honest opinions of my drawings, critics or suggestions if you have any. I'll post only two picture for now, I'll make sure also to upload new ones often.

On your manga drawing.. I noticed that your quite good in drawing their faciaL expression but be aware that you shouLd aLways be carefuL on that, for exampLe the one on the Left side with the guy that drawn (semi-fuLL body).. I don't know if he's Laughing or what.. that's aLL I can say.. but aLL in aLL! It's aLL great!

Thanks everyone for compliments, critics and especially thanks to "Yesha" for her suggestion, I will keep that in mind. Anyway, I know I didn't update any of my pictures for a long time so now would be a god time to do so. Picture with a girl standing on the beach was a picture that I send to "Yesha's" anime competition, so I thought to also display it right here.

well, to revive it again I'll upload few drawings, mostly doodles I draw on classes when I'm really bored.

The first two are of my hamster in various roles, I'm sure you can guess which ones, third, Idk, guess I was inspired by some hot chick, and yes, that's supposed to be me, though guess at that time I didn't have a beard, quite an old drawing. The fourth and final one I did on my English class, most boring experience in my entire life, seriously, during the class I considered doing that, that's how boring it was.

Just recently I started working on my new manga, this time though, I'll keep it simple. Here's a sample, two pages, both far from done, just a little presentation.

The more I see it (which is to say a small glimpse, but mostly the samples you give), the more I believe it's a blend between the Japanese "manga" style and the North American "comic" style (mostly because of the small eyes, which are slightly wider than that of the American comics but much smaller than typical manga). There are a few things that also contrast, possibly the lack of shading and the smoothness in appendages which are closer to "manga-style" than "comic-style".

But that's probably me, given that I'm interested in ideas that can allow comic-style graphic art and manga-style graphic art to blend or co-exist (basically accounting for trait differences between each continent).

You're not far of to be honest, never liked those huge eyes to begin with, nor am I a fan of some elements used in western comics, guess I'm trying to use best of both. Though due to character design one would say I'm leaning more to anime style, then again...

As for lack of shading, it will be included to some degree, as I've already mentioned both pages are far from done. Appreciate your analysis, I'll post new samples soon enough.

My brother gave me a drawing tablet as a early birthday present, to test it out I made a few drawings of my hamster in various roles, don't mind the rough edges I still need to get used to it.

I like what you're doing. Would you mind taking some time over in Sarajevo, Bosnia to finish a whole piece, so I and many other potential fans can see an online manga in TFF? That would be swell. Thank you a;a.

I haven't drawn a thing in ages, so I dusted off my tablet, and got busy. It took me couple of days to draw this, I call it "Let Me Clip Your Wing, Fallen One. I used Dissidia design for Kuja, and Kefka, Advent Children one for Sephiroth. It's beautiful, one of rare Final Fantasy related drawings of mine, I think I'm gonna do a follow up, maybe even make a short comic out of this.

I'm glad you like it, I cursed Kefka few times, his outfit is great and all, but drag to draw, way too many details. I'll be sure to do a comic, though it will take a while, maybe not if I keep it simple.

I was pleased with how new version of my Spartan Hamster turned out, so I though I'll re-do my Joker Hamster as well.

One of my close friends has been nagging me to draw her for quite some time now, I'm not really good at portraits, but I gave a shoot at it anyways. It turned out pretty good, not really my style but I borrowed few elements from one of the images I found on the net. I added angel wings and cross necklace since she's a religious person, turns out she really likes it, even more than I imagined.

That last one you did for a friend is really good. I like your clean lines and coloring and the girl's face looks real despite the fact that you only used limited lines and no shading. Keep it up!

I apologize for late response, I didn't want to come empty handed and I haven't done any drawing in quite a while now. I appreciate your kind words Quistis, it's always great to receive a compliment from a fellow artist, especially when it comes from a bloody good one while I'm at it.

Haven't done anything related to Pokemon since elementary so I came up with this, I call it "I'm 22 and I still love Pokemon". My little tribute to great time I had with both series and games, and yes, that's supposed to be me siting on Blastoise.

fun pics man. I'd like to be playing some pokemon but I don't have a portable device or any console on which to play them. Here's a question, would you be up to try drawing an old school-type megaman scene or character. Solid pen strok-ish anime style characters seems like would be right up your alley... I'm a huge MM fan and the closest I've got to getting someone to draw me something was the newest gay-looking rockman that looks kindergarten approved.
All I'm looking for is the original mega man without all that Nintendo DS pre-schooler attachments. Maybe some bosses, old or made up.... If you choose to accept this mission.
